Computer people are mostly boring nerds with glasses on Computer all day and they don't know how to socialize. I don't like stereotyping people but this is the case 90%.

Your stereotypes are disappointing wrong and boring. I work with several buildings of them, both men and women. They come in all flavors. Fat, thin, muscled, weak, hot as models and plain ugly. Glasses, contact lenses, and no eye correction. Well dressed or flannel shirts. They are all over the map of looks and fashion. And they all know how to socialize.

So, in answer to your question, some girls think that software engineers are cool because a lot of them are.

But...

Even if, for the sake of argument, they weren't "cool" by your definition, some girls might still like them for their own personal reasons.
