We also have a WiFi connection from Airtel. And it is already on 5G internet, as per the label.
I also don't like moving that much. So it works for me.

5g is bullshit for consumers. it's marketed towards smartphone users just so they would share the cost of the spread of the tech. really a smartphone user has no tangible advantage unless you're using your mobile plan to download terrabytes of data.
for the internet browsing experience, the raw maximum data throughput is not the bottleneck. the bottleneck in your mobile device is processing power or ping (network rsponse time). so 5g is completely nonsensical for smartphone users. this tech really is for big data applications. like electric mobility and the HUGE ammount of data that EVS collect...
that's really why 5g is scary. cause it's likely a tool for governmental mass controll and surveillance. it's not scary because of all these mystical/esoteric conspiracy theories, that likely have been spread to ridicule people who are scared of 5g in the public eye and to force acceptance.
Agreed
I also don't see any practical need for it in daily life. 4G seems fine.
well that's exactly the point. 4g is already bottlenecked by ping in smartphones. because really what slows you down is the time it need from the point you click something to the time that the server responds and sends the requested data. the data transfer itself is already fast enough for any phone application.
My phone is 5G equipped and I live where TMobile has a robust 5G network. So, mine's on. I don't really care or notice it. But I never drop and speeds are great and transitions are seamless.
As long as you get what you want, you don't pay attention to such things. It is that good.
Me too. 4G works really well in my area. Giving me no motivation to switch to 5G. And honestly, the 5G in India is actually just an upgraded version of 4G. For the majority of 5G. As it is cheaper to tweak 4G tech than starting from 0 for 5G.
It is not like 5G in The US.

I have two 5 G phones. I'm not even sure you can get 4 G phones here. But the apps run smoother.
A 5G has 4G, 3G and 2G as well. So yeah, you already have one!
Two..
Yess. Two phones. You already have them.
Depends. I travel around a lot, so between 4G, 5G and even 3G at times, it can be a pain to get a good quality signal. 6G will sort most the issues methinks.
My employer provides an iPhone for me and, since I don't choose the phone or the plan, don't pay attention to those issues.
I'm still using 3G.
Been on 5G for over 2 years now
5G do nice and fast!
