Anybody know how I can stop my MP3''s from changing their titles to Japanese?

When I put a huge collection together (Tangerine Dream, Beatles, XTC, Pink Floyd, etc.) I spend a LOT of time getting the titles and running order done the way I want it and, when I go back to it later, a number of them have changed either to titles, artists and albums I've NEVER heard of or they change Japanese titles that I can't read and probably wouldn't even translate to their correct titles, anyway, if I tried to!! Once I find out what they're SUPPOSED to be and correct them, AGAIN, I'll go back to them at a later date and they've switched back to Japanese shit again, or whatever else it was they changed to on their own!! AND, the new numbering sequence I gave them goes back to what they were on the CD they came from!!

there has to be some feature in the Settings of whichever app or device you're using to play mp3 that keeps connecting to the internet and automatically "updates" the date for such files...

so I think that is your best bet... go check the settings and turn off that feature

look at the corners of the app/screen...

there should be a drop-menu somewhere... it is usually three dots, three bars or a gear icon, they review all the settings from there

Either you've pirated the content, thus the metadata is of the original files. Or you've not formatted it the correctly when it was ripped. Use Mp3tag or similar to check and correct the metadata of the audio formated files.

These are recordings and/or CD's from my own collection.
Right now, my player has several tracks by Tripl3factaction on it and one claims it by Anne Murry, another claims it's by Artie Shaw, a few others look to be listed as by MTM, whatever that is. I recorded these to CD myself about 20 years ago from my vinyl copy (a 3-record 10" set).

Well, that's just it, I listen to a LOT of off the wall; stuff most people have never heard of! There''s stuff I've been looking for for decades (the other Mad Milo break-in, for instance) and still haven't even seen a picture of it!!

According to mom's last Will, I was to get a 50% share of the estate and a life estate! Those cunts contested the validity of that Will and wanted to go by her first Will which says we each get an equal share! I got railroaded and they won the case and was not given enough time to get all of my stuff out of the house. They wanted to sell it to get more money they didn't need or deserve! They already stole well over $37,000 from mom!! After the date I'd been given to move out by, I was told I'd have a chance to go back and get the rest of my stuff but, that never happened because it was thought that, once I get back in, I'd never come back out! Next thing I know, there's a crew of men going through the house and throwing away everything I wasn't allowed to get!! All I could do was sit there and watch them throw my life, my history, my family's history away!!

We weren't the best of friends but it wasn't until mom was dying that those cunts robbed her blind!
Her monthly checks were over $4000, if Karen cashed the check for her, she'd run straight to the grocery store and blow over $100 in groceries for HERSELF WITHOUT even ASKING mom if she could!! when mom was in the hospital a year or two before she died, Kathy took over her bank account and wouldn't even let mom write her own damn checks!! She SAID that, as soon as mom got better, all she had to do was ask and she'd send all of her banking stuff right back to her! Well, she asked SEVERAL times and Kathy refused to give it back to her!! They both got their name on her account so, when she died, THEY GOT all her money!! The only money I got was the stuff mom had me stash around the house so those cunts couldn't find it!! when the house was sold out from under me, instead of getting my 50%, I got 1/3!! And my bullshit lawyer took half of that!!

They claimed that she was under the influence of drugs when she signed and that we forced her to sign it. Her visiting nurse was there just before we had her sign and gave her half a drop of morphine about a minute before she signed. She already knew that's what her sister was there for so, we DIDN'T force her and it was HER decision to have the will changed!
