I still remember the good old days when the world was limited to male and female. Later, when those people that felt they needed to assign a letter to their sexual orientation were satisfied with the letters L, G and B. Somehow, with every year that passes, another letter, number or sign is added to the original LGB community. How can anyone keep track of that gibberish of letters and numbers.
It seems to be very fashionable nowadays to claim to be from a newly discovered sexual orientation that none of our ancestors seemed to be aware of. What will follow in
30+ years when all the letters and numbers of the current alphabet have been used? Will the future generations be confronted with something like LGBTQIA+6JUE0/OZDV-X9SYK8*P47M, WF/5R2H3C1N? And then what?
Youth nowadays already have a hard time with expressing themselves and the correct use of the English grammar. At this rate, we are in for serious trouble.
Why not just say that one is a human being rather than to assign each individual a different letter, number or any other brand for their individual sexuality. I have serious doubts that all the languages in the world have unduplicated letters for the current 8+ billion humans. Each one seems to have a slight difference that requires the addition
of a mark of some kind.31 Reply- +1 y
Because people who have identified as anything other than cis and straight have been, criminalized, tortured, killed for having sexual feelings and gender feelings outside the norm, if things are a bit more confusing but people get to live how they feel comfortable I really think it's a fair trade

Actually no. First this app is specified to be between two genders and that can be ok. A lot of transpeople can already just choose whatever they are. And non binary dont fit into the concept to be honest. There are alternatives, where they are included. I am all for inclusion but forced inclusion where is doesn't fit just ruins the purpose.
Second and last this side is full of haters and transphobes. It may be better if they stay far for their own good.01 Reply- +1 y
I never said forced lol, and simply seeing the existence of a nonbinary person shouldn't "ruin the purpose" and if it does then the purpose sucks lol
As someone who supports the notion of gender as a social construct, if we were to assume your loose logic has any merit, then it's evident that you, too, are a scared snowflake. Because nobody is "terrified" of inclusivity. Many people are opposed to the validation of certain notions, and subsequently oppose what you deem as inclusivity, but they're not scared of it. And the fact you're attempting to misrepresent their position instead of just being a rationale person and representing their stance honestly and truthfuly, then if we were to apply the same standards as the logic you've presented, it would be pretty clear that you're scared of opposition and can't handle when people disagree with you.

+1 yI'm nonbinary, but I don't really have an issue with the site being binary, pink and blue. Everyone has their own take, but I would think transfem/masc would just go pink or blue as they identify, so I don't see that as an issue. There are also plenty of users on gag who create accounts opposite the gender they identify as for various motivations. That's also fine with me, even those with malicious intent are pretty much harmless if you aren't completely naive.

I'm not going to ask for a "purple" option, as my particular non-binary-ness doesn't see my gender as an issue, or even really a label that I need to slap on myself for everyone to publicly view. I'm a human, and it's fine.

+1 yThe app is literally called girls ask guys so if you donât find yourself identifying as either or, maybe this app isnât mean for you. You cannot force people, brands, sides, or whatever have you to be inclusive just because it doesnât sit with your views.
My suggestion is instead of calling people snowflakes AFTER asking their opinion, channel that energy. Get in contact with the right people and create a community app for those who identify as being in the LBGTQ+ community.10 Reply
+1 yI think it might be fine. But honestly on here you can put in your profile for that type of stuff if you want. Nothing on the site says you cannot do that. Putting gender identity and pronouns in a profile is easier than waiting for the site to do anything.

+1 yNobody is scared of inclusivity. But how are you after 60 million years of evolution suddenly demanding different words to describe your gender. If you have a dixk youâre a man or trans woman. There is no they them there like wtf are you talking about lol

"No one" is scared? You're speaking for 8 billion other humans with a lot of confidence. You don't think even one of them is scared, not even a little bit? lol

+1 yNo, this sitte/app is called girls ask guys. Feel free to start a trans ask non-binary site if you want.

+1 yThe title of this ''App'' says otherwise.
What you suggest is similar to establishing a meat lovers section on a vegan website :)
Let everyone be the way he/she/it/whatever wants to be. At their own place, though?

+1 yI have no opinion because I don't even know what the hell that is. But there are a lot of imaginary rainbow and unicorn poop mental issues out there and you can't expect a website to accommodate it all.

It should include options for Apache attack helicopters like me and dolphins like you.

No. Don't need to give a spotlight to folks who are just different.

11 Reply- +1 y
I read the responses and I didn't see any loony lefties here except you! A single snowflake.
Fuck those labels and fuck the people that are so attention seeking that they need those labels to fill a void.

Lol didn't mean to trigger you hun, didn't know you cared so deeply about it.
- +1 y
I mean you came in screaming fuck those people and fuck this and fuck that, seems pretty upset, and what do you mean it needs to end, is it hurting anyone?
- +1 y
@kylee2437
I agree with you - +1 y
Again, it was a basic question of inclusivity and you blew up about it, it's not nonsense to some and I don't think making an app like this more inclusive or not is going to effect geopolitical or climate events. There's always bigger issues, doesn't mean that all the smaller have to be ignored
- +1 y
@MaddieMayMoo this is just barely a small issue. This is considered an issue to people that are full of privilege and attention seeking behaviors
- +1 y
@MaddieMayMoo itâs GirlsAskGuys not thems ask theyâs. Wanting society to fuel your delusions and calling us un-inclusive for not doing so is ridiculous. Like Kylee said, please touch some grass.
- +1 y
@kaylee2437 historically one of the highest rates of hate crimes per population are the lgbtqia+ and historically yes they have chemically castrated, shocked genitals, lobotomized the queer community. It's just a fact and they don't care about your feelings snowlfake
- +1 y
@hollyk21 yeah and things change lol sorry that a little inclusion is seen as so blasphemous. Not once in history has regressive thinking like yours been on the right side of it, whether that be with race, biological sex or gender but go off I guess đ
- +1 y
@MaddieMayMoo letâs get our facts straight gays were criminalized / killed long long long time ago, not some organization that was made up to accommodate attention seeking losers like you. Two Iâm bisexual and you and me are not on the same level. I donât use my sexuality to attention seek.
- +1 y
Lol babes I've not once brought up my sexuality or gender, you just did so if you are trying to prove a point you missed. And there are still hate groups and entire countries as well as major parts of the us that are trying to criminalize the queer community but sure 70 years ago, around a single life time is " a long long long time ago
- +1 y
@MaddieMayMoo I brought up my sexuality to prove a point one half of your organization doesnât give a single shit about the idea of pronouns. And two , you know what was around 70 years ago? Racism, absolutely nobody gave a shit about pronouns
- +1 y
Again, because there are things that effect more people doesn't mean the smaller issues don't matter and wait, exactly! You used your sexuality and gender for attention and to prove a point, the hypocrisy though
- +1 y
And what do you mean my organization?
- +1 y
It's between 1.6 and 5% google is free girl.
Lol and there are people throwing fits because a video game included pronouns, we can keep going back and forth with the bullshit we see - +1 y
Right, you used it for attention and to prove a point which again, you don't, you don't speak for all bisexuals let alone gays/and lesbians
- +1 y
@MaddieMayMoo how in the Christ can those even be accurate when itâs an idea where someone can change their mind the next day đ and no thanks. Iâm not a loser , I have a life. Just wanted to point out we arenât on the same level.
- +1 y
Maddie the fact youâre doing all this whining and have the nerve to call anyone a snowflake is just laughable lol. Having more than one gender in your mind and demanding others to abide by that is an identity crisis, and people arenât obligated to feed into that. How is supporting the erasure of gender identity PROgressive? How is vilifying people who donât agree with that lifestyle make them the enemy?

+1 yWell it is called Girls Ask Guys so probably not.
30 Reply Just think of them as male or female instead of man or woman if you think they aren't synonymous.
00 Reply- 304 opinions shared on Technology & Internet topic.
+1 yNo because those people aren't real, a person is either male or female or a mix of both (hermaphrodite), there is no such thing as "non binary" or "trans", those are just males and females with mental illnesses.
03 Reply- +1 y
Lol you are factually wrong and facts don't care about your feelings but go off snowflake
- +1 y
Lol no I'm not, and you seem to be the only "snowflake" here.
You are so obsessed with how others view you, that you can't even admit what you are, or deal with the fact that humans can't switch genders, or that there aren't more than 2 genders, or that gender is exclusively biological sex, or the fact that mutilating your genitals to look like the opposite gender is loony bin stuff (considering mental gender stereotypes and the operation itself destroys the nerves required to orgasm, making it pointless even if you're just a gay person wanting a straight person). - +1 y
considering mental gender stereotypes are bs*
Not really. If you think there is a need, start your own website.

Inclusive: not excluding any of the parties or groups involved in something. It's called girlaskguys.
Having a two gender option doesn't exclude the people who are involved. You want something that is already established for males and females to change for your feelings. That makes you the snowflake. If all genders and sexualities are equal, then you should have no problem finding what you are looking for elsewhere.
+1 yNo, thanks.
