Well... If You think in general terms, I'd say men are more likely to give up social media to avoid the flood of hate targeted at them. However, some women tend to be quite radical and particular about certain things. If they were capable of enough empathy and were disillusioned enough with our reality, they would be able to drop social media in an hour at most. Thus, some women will be more likely to drop social media than men.

Honestly, I said men. Why? Because men have given up on the concept of validation. Women thrive on it. Post pic of yourself half naked, or with your tits out... get a shit ton of likes, comments and followers. Validation.

Me do not get that from social media, honestly only men really doing all that on social media these days are simps, and incels. Which most men do give a shit about anyway.

I think men might have an easier time quitting all social media. I wouldn't overlook those that use social media as a form of advertising for their business or services.

Looking at this question from a purely social perspective, most men could walk away from it if they are not attention seeking.

I can say that there have times where I cut off social media for a while and felt really good having my mind away from it, and I could also get focused on other things. So there really are benefits to it. Do you think women feel empty if they're not on social media?

Pretty much yes. Conventional women these days are addicted to social media and showing off and oversharing. They will probably fall into depression "missing out" on this crap but they already fall into depression not collecting enough likes nor being contacted by a top 20% man.
