If you know Queens, Jamaica, New York, you'd really want one of these. Invented in 1960's... many people have them today. Invented by a nurse and her electrician husband. Yes... people back then got married... and had kids too.
Answer tomorrow.
Hopefully that's not too easy to google search... Whomever gets it right first gets MHO for being smart.
"Necessity is the mother of invention".
Jamaica is not very safe... hint hint...

Quite an invention.

I wonder how many people could have made inventions if they had proper training?

I’m going to guess that it was a mercury vapor bulb , although I’m not quite sure it was in Jamaica queens but it was in the 60s and in the USA
On a side note, I’m just 20 miles east of Jamaica Queens
Where are you? I grew up in MSPQ.
@abc3643 I grew up and still am in the town right next door to the west of it
@abc3643 And the Burger Joint is still there and the fries are still great 😊
Really? Wow. Believe it or not, I have NEVER been to that burger joint. I lived north of the tracks just east of the woods. I went to RJL although I lived just a close to the S M S. SHS was much closer to me than MHS.
@abc3643 I guess you remember that restaurant near the mall that looked like a flying saucer? Next to White Castle which is still there. I guess you don’t live in New York anymore
Saw the update, I guess more people would try to invent things and patent it if it wasn’t such a process, I know I thought of a few things that I should have pursued patenting that didn’t come out until many years later. Someone else always comes up with the same idea eventually
No I don't live in New York anymore. Yes, that "flying saucer" restaurant has probably been at least 10 different businesses over the past 50 years
@abc3643 Yeah it definitely has, I guess you moved somewhere warmer
I live in MO since 2011.
@abc3643 oh ok, definitely colder and very rural
MO is warmer. No real snow.
ME!
I was invented in Queens near Jamaica in the 1960s.
(Jamaica is a large neighborhood within Queens; Queens is not within Jamaica.)
good clarification on Jamaica... yes it's a sub area.
haha cool! What a small world.
You are not registered at the patent office... the item in question is. Possibly a neighbor of yours made the invention...:)
