Two of my friends use Kindle and both of them suggesting it. They say it is very convinient reading book in your bed before going to sleep. They say it doesn't hurt the eyes. They also said you can find many books online. It seems like a good purchase but I will like to hear your comments on that. Have you used it, do you suggest it? There is nothing negative about Kindle? My friends said connecting the web is hard but it is not a problem.
Kindles are super convenient, especially if you love reading a lot. They are light and portable, can store thousands of books. A big plus is the e-ink screen technology that mimics paper, which is way easier on the eyes compared to regular screens like your phone or tablet. You can comfortably read it on the bed.
Battery life is also good. Kindles can last weeks on a single charge depending on how much you use it, so you don’t have to worry about charging it every day.
About finding books, there's a massive selection available on Amazon, and many ebooks are cheaper than their physical counterparts. Plus, there are plenty of free books available too, and options to borrow ebooks from libraries.
On the downside, if your friends mentioned the internet connectivity being tricky, they're probably talking about the browser. It's a bit clunky and definitely not the best for surfing the web, but for downloading books, it does the job just fine.
If you're mainly looking to use it for reading, and you're okay with not having the best internet browsing experience on it, then a Kindle could be a really great choice for you. It simplifies reading in a lot of ways, and it's kind on the eyes for those late-night reading sessions!

I liked my Nook, which is the Barnes & Noble reader tablet, when it was still good. I had the Nook Color which I really liked but the new versions of Nook I like a little less and so I have kept my color. It’s convenient for travel and I like how it suggests authors in the o line store based on what you’re reading. I’ve discovered a few authors this way. My Color sees less use now simply because it’s older and the batter life isn’t what it once was. Once they make a version I like I’ll buy another Nook.
if you want to read and also have limited space its a good alternative to paper books, the only disadvantage i know of, you are bound to amazon with a kindle, so maybe a different brand ebook reader is better. But this exclusivity may vary from country to country, so maybe google it.
I'm a bookworm, I read in four languages, I live in Europe and often read books available only in the US so kindle saves me time and money. Also I can't travel to Russia every time I want to buy some book, so I have them on kindle. When I travel, I always have kindle with me, kilograms of books stay at home :D

My brother gifted my parents a Kindle and it's sitting in the same drawer they placed it in after that Christmas. It's not that they aren't readers, but they like to hold a solid book and flip pages.

I got a Fire Tablet rather. It has Kindle on it, is about the same size and has Audible, Netflix, Amazon Music, Amazon Video, etc as well. WiFi not 5G so good for kids too as you can control access to content effectively.
There is certainly nothing wrong with them so it would be totally up to you whether you would like it or not.
If you already have a tablet/phone, you don't need it.
you can literally just get the "kindle" reading app! It’s ok but I just use eBooks and read them on my phone
I don't have a Kindle, but I do have the Kindle app on my phone. It has been really helpful getting lots of books to read without having to carry physical copies.
You can read Kindle books on an iPad or phone or Android tablet or computer so the device itself really doesn't matter.
I love Kindle but I dont have a dedicated Kindle just the Kindle app on my phone and tablet
Not to me. I use "Hoopla" which allows me to download most books at my local library to my hone, and read at my convenience. Why pay for what you can get for free.
No, buy real books instead, books needing electricity to work is dumb.
Love my kindle. I don't really read a book unless I can get it on my kindle
It absolutely is. It is a great way to keep a library's worth of books on a single device.
Not really, sooner have a book I can highlight or if I don't like it pass/sell on
My nook died and I replace the battery is too old. I can’t find the new battery. I don’t recommend electric device always die at some point
Some people sure like them, but not me. I prefer to read books.
Try theirs and see if you like it.
it is convenient but who has time to read?
