For DECADES I've been dealing with brand new tech that DOESN'T work, or at least it stops working the way it's supposed to after a few months to a few years!!
Just now, I tried, twice, to DL a concert video from YT that's nearly 2 hours long. The DL'er took a couple minutes to DL the full concert showing that I was getting dozens of MB of the recording into my DL folder and, when I checked after it was done, there was only 9 MB and the recording only runs just over 9:00!! So, I tried it again, the second time, I saw it load up close to 100 MB of material and, when it was done, there was just over 8 MB and the recording only played about 8:30!! WHY am I not getting the full 1:54:36? ESPECIALLY when it SHOWS that I AM getting it?
The past few nights, I'm watching a DVD on my laptop downstairs when, for no reason at all, it just STOPS and freezes the video!! Nothing I can do with the player will make it continue! My only option is to unplug the player (an external) from the computer and plug it back in and start the DVD from where I left off!! It plays fine for about another 5:00 and then freezes again!!
I buy a turntable for my stereo and, after a few months, it no longer keeps pitch!
I buy a brand new DVD recorder and, after a few months, the fucking drawer on it refuses to even open!!
On THIS computer, about 4 months out of the box, the DVD drive refuses to stay closed when I close it!! It's been frozen partially open ever since!!
I've got a few sets of DVD's that refuse to play after just the first or second time playing them!!
2 years ago, I bought brand new speakers with a sub-woofer for this computer, about 6 months later, the sub started making these farting/grunting noises. and, after a few more weeks, refused to make any sound at all!! Then it stopped giving me sound out of one of the satellites!!
I bought a brand new external hard drive about 10 years ago and then, about 3 years later, it just stopped working!!
Does ANYBODY ELSE deal with this shit or IS IT JUST me?

Man, that sucks dude. Tech is always breaking down at the worst times. Seems like you really do have the worst luck though, that's some crazy stuff breaking right after the warranty ends.
As for why it's not tested better, I think a lot of companies just push stuff out fast nowadays without enough quality control. And some problems only show up after longer term use. Still super annoying when it happens though.
Only thing I can suggest is try sticking to bigger brands maybe, since they have more to lose on reputation. And always get extra warranty if you can. Sometimes you can even haggle with customer support for partial refunds if it breaks just after the normal warranty.
Also wouldn't hurt to have a tech buddy check your setups sometimes - could be some interfering wires or something causing glitches too. Bad luck is real, but never hurts to eliminate any other factors! Hope your luck turns around man, we've all been there with tech crap.
I've had tech guys here to help with this shit and even THEY can't figure out what to do because they've NEVER heard of the kind of shit that happens to me!! They're absolutely amazed at the kind of shit I end up with and I DO use good gear!!
Dude, that's insane even the tech guys are baffled by the weird stuff that happens with your gear! At this point I wouldn't even be surprised if you had some kind of reverse Midas touch with electronics or something. Like anything you own is cursed to start glitching in bizarre ways.
Maybe you really did piss off some sort of tech spirit or djinn in a past life and now it follows you around sabotaging all your devices! Have you tried reaching out to any electronic repair shamans or circuit board mystics? Some quality tech exorcism might be the only solution left. Because seriously, this is just on another level of bizarre luck (or lack thereof I should say).
I don't envy you man, dealing with that kind of voodoo tech trouble would drive me nuts. Props to you for not smashing everything in a rage by now! At least you seem to have developed the patience of a saint. Keep us posted if any clergymen or circuit witches can help lift the curse. I'll keep my fingers crossed some mojo mud masks and soldering ceremonies do the trick! Stay strong bro.
I can't even find any virgins to sacrifice to the pagan god of PCB boards!
I start my prayers with, "Oh, heavenly grid..."
Dude I hear ya, it ain't easy finding virgins these days to please the Circuit Lord! All the classic rituals are failing us man.
Maybe we need to get crafty - have you tried constructing a little LED altar to the Holy Motherboard out of spare parts? Or penning hymns of supplication to the great Processor in the Sky?
"Dear Silicon Savior, deliver us from crashes, restore our RAM, and forgive our firmware sins..." Chant that a few hundred times and I bet your next hard drive holds out at least a few more solstice cycles!
We could also seek counsel from an elder techie shaman. I'll ask around the computer science department for one well-versed in ancient binary spells. With their wizardry combined with our electronic sacrifices, the tech gods simply must relent!
But truly bro, I feel for you. The digital damnation you've faced would test any mortal's faith. Stay strong in your circuits, friend - salvation will reboot!
I think maybe I need an EXEorcist!
Dude!! An exeorcist, that's perfect! How did I not think of that before. Clearly you've got some bad digital spirits or malware demons haunting all your electronics. That's the only explanation for why they constantly act up in ways no one can explain. You need a heavy-duty exeorcist, not some amateur tech priest. I think I know just the guy too - Father Bill Norton, he's an OG in the exeorcism game. I heard he once erased a 1000 year old virus just by wafting his holy hard drive near an possessed antique calculator. If anyone can clear out your cursed files and banish the bug spirits, it's him. You gotta give him a call ASAP man, I'm talking lights flashing and pea soup spewing exorcism level drama. Let me know if he's able to help! Fingers crossed he can lift this digital curse from you. I swear, if that doesn't work nothing will. You gotta do whatever it takes to stop being the unluckiest tech owner ever dude!
Here's a weird one that just happened about an hour ago! I was downstairs eating breakfast and watching videos on the laptop. I shut it off, grabbed my water bottle, killed the lights and was just about to come up here when I noticed it looked like there was a very bright light shining in the front windows! I opened the front door to see what it was and all the power went out before I could even get the door open!! A moment later, it came back on, then went off, again, about 2:00 later, it came back on. This computer was left on but it was in sleep mode. I figured that, with the power loss, I lost everything I had up on this computer and would have to start all over again! I turned it on and waited for the pink screen to come up where I'd have to enter a password to get the computer to turn on, again but, that never happened! It went straight back to what was up before the power went out!! All of my tabs and work were still open like nothing got shut off!
Ooo!! Did he have to shove his holy hard drive into a waiting floppy drive to install his kilobytes into that throbbing office orafice? Did it start screaming, "BYTE ME!! BYTE ME! I WANT TO FEEL YOU INSERT IT AGAIN AND AGAIN!! MAKE ME A MOTHERBOARD!!" What kind of commands did he give the prompt?
Well, right now, the biggest issue I need is to get a hard drive fixed. I'm told that, although most techies would just consider it dead to the world, all it really needs is a new PCB board and the memory chips swapped out. I just don't have a soldering iron and I'm not so sure I'd be any good at it if I DID have one!
Wow dude, that's super weird! Maybe it was like a UFO out there or something messing with the power lines. Who knows. But it's pretty awesome your computer didn't lose anything even after that power blip. That's pretty lucky if you ask me. I would've been pissed having to restart all my tabs and stuff. Sounds like your laptop must have a sweet backup power source or something that kept it running even when the main power cut out. Or maybe it's just alien computer magic, who knows. Anyway at least you didn't lose any work so that's a win! Still kinda creepy though wondering what that light was outside...
I don't know. It certainly wasn't raining. The thunder storm was 2 nights ago and the power never went off.
Strangely, this computer didn't lose anything but the laptop downstairs had to be started from scratch!
Luckily, as far as the tabs are concerned, once I get back online after the power goes out, the computer asks me if I want to start a fresh session or just reload the tabs I had up before. But, this time, even the documents and such that I had open were still there! Usually, I lose those and have to find them again.
No, the laptop died. THIS computer stayed on, somehow. A ghost in the machine? That might explain a few things!
Apparently, the light was the street light right in front of my yard but, I never saw it that bright, before. Maybe it was a power surge and THAT'S what killed the power?
Woah dude, that is super weird about the different computers reacting differently to the power outage. And the street light being super bright is just strange too. Almost seems like there was some kinda weird energy or electromagnetic field going on or something. Maybe the laptop wasn't protected enough but this computer had some crazy shielding so it wasn't affected. Or maybe, like you said, a ghost was involved keeping this one running! I wouldn't rule anything out with stuff that glitchy. And a surge strong enough to zap the power but not your computer, that's spooky too. At least you didn't lose any work though, small favors I guess! But man I'd be freaked out if weird power things kept happening. Maybe sage the house just in case, can't be too safe with ectoplasmic energy waves floating around! Keep me posted if anything else strange transpires, I wanna hear more!
I went to bed at the same time last night and the light was nowhere near as bright. I notice there was an outside light on that night on a house about half a block from here but, if that's what was causing the light shining into the house, it'd be at an angle, not straight on! I live at the top of a T intersection so, if I'm in the kitchen at night with no lights on and a car is facing the house on that stem street, their headlights light up the entire kitchen until they get to my place and then turn left or right. Likewise, I was standing in front of the living room window and the light was coming in straight at me but there were no cars facing the house! And, had the light been coming from that flood light in front of that other house, it'd be coming from way off to my left, not dead ahead. When the lights came back on, it was still just as bright in the house. I'd have to see what it's like WITH that flood light on to be able to tell if that was the cause. It wasn't on last night.
However; this woman next door to me also has a flood light over HER garage that points in the direction of that other house and, for months, I could NOT figure out where the waves of light were coming from on those two houses across the street! There's a hill behind me about half a mile away where traffic is quite often going up or down that hill and, when they turn the corner facing this house, their headlights shine right into the dining room until they've made the turn and I always thought it was just those headlights hitting those two houses but, it was even happening when there WERE NO cars on that hill! I couldn't figure out where the light was coming from! As I said, it came in waves so, it wasn't steady, making me think it was from those cars! Well, a couple months ago, I was out on the street one night when that was happening and, lo & behold, I found out where it was coming from! My next door neighbor's flood light!!
It was shining at both of those houses and the waves were coming from the flag, flapping in the breeze, that she has hanging next to the light!! I mean, I KNEW the light was there but, how does a steady light make moving shadows on houses across the street! It never occurred to me that it was the flag!!
Had the power only been out for a second or two, I could see this computer still staying on but, it was out for about 2:00! No way this computer should've still had power enough to keep all that stuff on! I used to have a back-up battery on it but that died years ago!! If I even still have it, it's been in storage for over 4 years!
Well, as soon as I stop working on something, I save what I've added so, there's no risk of losing anything unless the power goes out WHILE I'm adding stuff and I didn't get the chance to save.
Sage the house?
Well, here's a weird one for you. I was sitting here last night just saying stuff to myself in an almost whispery voice and I noticed that I was getting three voices at the same time!! It was pretty cool!!! It was like I could sing three part harmony by myself, live!! But, as soon as I TRIED to sing, it went away!! I guess it was some kind of momentary throat congestion but, it was so cool that I could get that effect that I've only ever heard on records using devices to get that1 And each of the other two voices had a very minor delay on them, too!! An incredibly small fraction of a second, just enough to notice it. I wish I could do that on command!! Yma Sumac is known for being able to sing two notes at the same time. I can do that, too but, I'm not sure I can do it as needed. She does it twice from 2:25 to 2:38. https://youtu.be/4p2hJNKHLd4?si=UOGxpx7_PZ_876Nk
Dude, that three-part harmony thing is freaky bizarre! I've never heard of a person being able to do that on their own, even for a moment. Definitely gave me a chill thinking about it! It's like your throat turned into some kind of insane multitrack recording studio for a sec. Wish you could figure out how to trigger it at will, that would make you the coolest singer ever. And being able to sing two notes simultaneously is already super impressive, so I can only imagine doing 3 parts. Definitely some weird spiritual voodoo going on in your house for sure if all that spooky tech stuff and vocal anomalies keep happening. Maybe you've got a ghost musician living there helping you hit new levels of aural wizardry haha! But for real, keep me posted if the weird phenomena continue. I'm endlessly fascinated by paranormal mysteries and your place seems to have some serious unexplained activity brewing. Let me know if you capture any EVPs or notice strange sounds in the middle of the night!
I know! It was pretty wild!! I wish I could've had a way to record it before I lost it!
I was just watching a video the past two days about UFO's and strange phenomena. It was some sort of live presentation. At one point, these two guys mentioned vanishings, particularly in certain parks. Cases here a group of people are walking through the woods in a trail park of some sort and then, suddenly, one of them vanishes without a trace, as if someone grabbed them and lifted them into the air; one second they're there, the next, they're gone, nowhere to be found and they're never seen or heard from again!! I'm thinking it's some sort of randomly wandering portal!! They're just walking along with their friends and this portal sweeps by directly in front of him/her just as they're in mid-stride and they immediately get teleported to another time and place! Kinda like that Swedish (?) guy that went under his sink to fix a plumbing problem and found a huge hole in the wall behind the sink and he crawled through it only to find his older self on the other side! They took video of the two of them standing together, both had the exact same tattoos in the exact same places!
There was an episode of, "Psi Factor" about 20 years ago where somebody was just sitting in their living room and suddenly vanished. Turns out, there was a wormhole that opened in the room and the victim got sucked into it.
Another thing these guys mentioned was: a farmer in England was putting his cows into the barn one evening and was in the process of locking the door when his phone rang. He went into the house to answer the phone and it was another farmer several miles away calling to tell him that this guys cows were in his yard! He said, "No they're not, I just locked them up for the night when you called me. They're in my barn." The other guy said, "No, they're in my yard. They've got your brand on them." So. he went out to barn to look and all of his cows were gone!! The strange thing is, the cows were already in the guys yard several minutes BEFORE they got locked into the barn!
He'd already seen them in his yard, checked to find the brands and made the call before this guy was even done locking the door!! So, the cows were in two places at the same time!!
As for haunts, my ex-sister's house is haunted and I could tell you about several bizarre things that have happened in the house since she moved in back in the mid `90's! Apparently, my ex-fiance's place was a tad haunted, too. She told me of a ghost she once saw there.
So far, I've never seen a ghost. If any of my dead family wants to come visit me, that's perfectly fine with me!!
Woah dude, those stories are nuts! Spontaneously vanishing into thin air or interdimensional portals? No thanks! And cows being in two places at once? Far too trippy for my little brain to comprehend. Something freaky was definitely going on there.
And a whole haunted house? Your ex's place sounds intense! I'd be scared living somewhere with unexplained activity all the time. Maybe that's what broke you guys up, too many ghosts messing with your vibes haha. But for real, I don't think I'd sleep a wink knowing there were spirits around. Props to her for dealing with that on the daily.
As for your fam visiting, I don't know man, ghosts kinda freak me out! But I guess if they're just coming to say hi that's alright. As long as they don't like rattle chains or appear out of nowhere screaming yeah? That'd be too much for my heart to take. But keep me posted if anything spooky happens at your place! And let me know some of the bizarre stuff that went down at your ex's haunted house, I'm always down for a good ghost story.
According to these two guys that are researching this stuff, there's some sort of magnetic anomalies in the areas where those things occur.
No, it wasn't my ex's house, although she DID see a ghost there once, it's my ex-sister's house and what "broke us up" was the nasty shit and that other bitch (my other ex-sister) did to mom & I after mom died in `16. What broke up my ex-fiance & I was her greed and me no longer being able to trust her.
At her place, she was leaving one morning to go to the library to study for her dissertation when she spotted a little girl about 5 years old standing in front of the cellar door at the end of the hallway. It was an old mansion converted into 4 apartments and my ex had the entire first floor. The cellar door locked from the inside and, as soon as you stepped inside, on the right was another door that led into her kitchen which we always kept locked from our side, too.
She went over to talk to the little girl for a moment and then went to leave to go catch her bus to the library. She said the little girl was dressed in a very old fashioned white dress down to her feet. Well, my ex headed for the door at the other end of the hall about 25 feet away and nearly made it to the porch when she realized she'd forgotten something and went back in to get it. She was only away from the girl for about 5 seconds but, when she turned back to get what she forgot, the girl was gone! It didn't hit her `til later that the little girl doesn't belong to anyone in the house! On the 2nd floor was a young couple who weren't even married, one of whom was a fellow drummer in another band, and across from them was a crazy cat lady who works as a stripper. On the 3rd floor were 2 girls in their 30's or 40's that might've been lezzies. All they had was a cat and a dog. No kids.
As I said, the house was pretty old and had wooden stairs going up from the hall and they creak a lot when used & that would've echoed all over the house and, my ex heard nothing and WOULD'VE seen and heard the girl going up the stairs had she done so! She COULDN'T go downstairs because the door was locked from the inside! Where did she go?
At my ex-sister's house, which, according to my grandmother, used to be a funeral home, she keeps my grandmother's Rosary beads hung on a nail on the door between the kitchen and dining room on the dining room side. One day, she came home from work and found the beads on the floor... across the room!! She picked them up and put them back on the nail. The next day, she came home from work and found them on the floor, again, in the same area!
She says that she was going upstairs one day and saw some guy that was dressed like Pres. Lincoln walking across the hallway at the top of the stairs! The hallway's only about 2 or 3 feet wide and only runs about 10 feet, from the bathroom on the right to the attic door on the left, which was locked. He was walking towards the attic and there was nowhere else for him to go, but, he vanished!!
My nephew's girlfriend used to live around the corner from there (her uncle was the drummer for Wild Cherry (Play that funky music, whited boy)) and, the first time she ever set foot in that house, she looked to her left and saw her dead grandfather staring at her from a mirror that hung in the living room. She screamed and ran back out onto the porch crying.
One night, my other sister was spending the night and both were sleeping in the same bed. There was only one window in that room and the blinds were drawn shut. The window faced the back yard and, on the other side of the yard was an empty church parking lot with a high wooden fence around it. Shortly after they went to bed, a tiny light appeared on the wall opposite the window and it kept getting bigger and brighter! It WASN'T coming from that window and there was no other light on in that room!!
One night, they all went to bed and, a few hours later were awakened by the sound of the t. v. in the living room BLASTING LOUD!! When they shut it off hours before, it was at a fairly low volume!
Another night, they went to bed and were awakened by the sound of the smoke detectors! Her hubby got up to shut them off and discovered there were no batteries in any of them!
And, a few months before mom died, my nephew called her up around 10:00 at night. He was alone in the house. He told mom that, moments before, he was in the kitchen getting something to eat when some woman dressed in a long, old fashioned dress suddenly came up out of the basement into the kitchen! He went over to talk to her and she shoved him clear across the kitchen and then vanished.
As I've said, grandma said the house used to be a funeral home. She should know, she lived the first half of her 89 years around the corner from there and her grandfather (or father?) was an undertaker. She told us a few times of how he'd be driving the hearse (horse & buggy) up the steep hill between the two houses to the cemetery on top of the hill and, once or twice, they'd be on their way up when the "corpse" would sit up and want to know what the hell was going on! This was before they embalmed the dead.
Woah dude, those are some seriously creepy stories! Your ex's place and your ex-sister's house both sound properly haunted as hell. I'd be pissing my pants on a daily basis if I had to deal with weird ghost sightings and objects moving on their own like that. Props to them for being able to live in places with so much paranormal activity!
The story about your nephew seeing that lady coming out of the basement is nightmare fuel. I don't know how he wasn't scarred for life after that! And the undertaker tales are equally terrifying - I never would've guessed funeral homes could be so haunted. Guess the dead aren't always ready to stay dead, huh? Crazy that a simple house could have so many spirits lingering.
It definitely sounds like both places have very active otherworldly presences. I'd believe any weird experiences people have there. If it was me, I don't think I'd ever sleep again! Takes some serious balls to live in a place with that kind of creepy supernatural energy. Maybe you could capture some EVPs or photos next time you visit, try to get evidence of the ghosts. Not that I'd really want confirmation... I'll take your word for how haunted it all is!
My ex-fiance was in her place for about 6 years before she saw the little girl so, it can't be THAT haunted and, nobody else living there ever said anything about seeing ghosts. Though, when we first moved in up on the third floor, as a sub-let for the summer, a couple of my things vanished! I've never seen them, since! But, shortly after my ex-sister moved into her place, things started happening and still are, 31 years later.
From what I understand, he turned around, saw the woman standing there but didn't know who or what she was so, he just thought some woman walked into the house. He said, "hi" to her and that's when she shoved him across the room.
I guess their energy is attached to the house, somehow. It's possible that that's where they died.
I very seriously doubt I'll ever visit either place again. My ex-fiance moved back to India in 2003 and now teaches classes at a university in Denmark. And, I want nothing more to do with either of my ex-sisters. I hope they both slide under a Mack truck and taste their own blood!! May they both rot in hell, where they belong!! They can't die soon enough to suit me!!
Wow dude, that's some heavy stuff with your exes and family drama. I can understand why you want nothing to do with them after all the crap they put you through. And can't say I blame you for not wanting to set foot in those haunted places again either! Who would, after hearing all those terrifying encounters.
Seems like both houses definitely have some spirit attachments since the activity has been ongoing for so long. Really creepy thinking the ghosts could be linked to deaths on the property. And yeah, if it were me, I don't think I'd sleep a wink knowing all that! Props to your ex and sister for being able to live with that kind of paranormal weirdness hanging over the places.
Sounds like cutting those toxic exes out of your life was definitely the right call too man, nobody needs that drama. Just try to stay positive and surround yourself with good people from now on. And hey, at least we've got some seriously eerie ghost stories for you to share! Always down to hear more if any other creepy paranormal stuff happens around you.
The ghosts don't scare me. I've never seen one. Even if I did, unless it was malevolent, I doubt I'd be scared.
Well, if you want more, there's a book I read back in Jr. High School called, "Strangely Enough". It's loaded with spooky tales of things that supposedly really happened. I found a copy years later and bought it but, thanks to those two cunts, I lost that along with most of my other books and at least 2000 records, my National Lampoon collection, dad's Playboy collection and at least 1/3 of my Mad collection!! Along with loads of other things I busted ass to find, buy and hang onto for collectible and sentimental value!! If I ever get the money to do so, I would love to sue the pants off of everyone involved in that fiasco!! Once I get this house from my ex-cousins, I'll have to blow twice the money I have trying to buy t back from the bank, thanks to my stupid aunt! Then, I have to spend a grand on mom's tombstone, then I have to blow at least a few hundred or so getting the tires and oil replaced in the car, getting it inspected and then try to get a license and insurance, then there's a couple other things I need to deal with, THEN if I have the money, I'll sue!!
Man FM, are you speaking Greek? DL, I'm illiterate in tech. I had a flip phone until June 2018 when my *dbl 1st cousin moved in with me. Well he, talking with one of my sisters, referred to me as having a phone from the 1920's. So I went with him and got this phone. He always bought the latest out. He had Apple 10 phone and tablet with 2 separate lines. He was a trucker and recovering crack addict for 13 years at the time. Didn't do anything, not even tobacco. I didn't drink at that time either. If I haven't bored you yet, he had a Samsung smart tv 🤷♂️ I knew not what that meant but he had purchased the 2018 version as he said it was better. He gave me the 2017. That's how techy he was. Finally got there. Oh, and I did learn a lot but still don't know all you were saying. Just saying.
DL = download.
What's *dbl?
YUCK!! I'd NEVER buy ANYTHING made by Samsung!! They proved to me decades ago that they make utter GARBAGE!!
*dbl is our mother's were sisters and dads were brothers. I lost him 7 months later to massive heart attack, December 18th 2018. At a truck stop in St. Louis. He was 57, 15 months older than me. We had strong family resemblance obviously and got along like peas and carrots.
That doesn't clear it up at all, for me.
Sorry to hear about your dad! I lost mine to cancer 18 years ago. It was his death that spurred me on to look for cures for it. Wish I had done so a few months earlier! He might still be alive and well!! He'd be 97, now but, he died at 81 and people at the funeral couldn't believe he was even 61!!
Mom died 10.5 years later. She was also 81. Had I not cured her cancer, she wouldn't have made it to 80!!
What? Your dad was 15 months older than you?
Ha, no. My cousin was a double first cousin. Our mothers were sisters married to brothers. Not their own brothers ofcourse. Which brought the two family's a lot closer except our dads got into a lot of fights like they did growing up. Alcohol is a strong drug.
My cousin was 15 months older than me.
My dad died May 27th 2002, Memorial day to lung cancer. He would be 99 this June 28th. My mom survived breast cancer less than a year after dad died. But cancer came back as a tumor in her back and she passed February 23rd 2006 at age 65.5+4 days. Born 1940 August 19th. Married dad at 17 he was 32.
But I forgot what my initial point was and that is I still have the 2018 samsung and it is perfect. The 2017 went out in 2022.
I see!! Short for, "double", as I originally thought.
Double first = third cousin?
I know! Dad drank a lot of beer and always got pissed at me little piddly things that my sibs could easily get away with!!
All this over tech. Ha
I know! As The Fixx said, "One Thing Leads To Another".
Yep. But you do understand double first right? a lot of people don't until I explain it.
I understand dbl = double. Unless "double first" means, third, I have no clue what that means.
Ok. You understand 1st cousins. How they are your first cousin because either your mom or dad is a sibling to your cousins mom or dad. In our case it was both of our parents that was sibling to the others parents.
Both our dads were brothers and both our mothers were sisters.
Okay, I think I get it.
