Do you ever use text/SMS language during face-to-face conversations?

I say "BRB" instead of "Be right back" all the time. I probably haven't even used "BRB" in messaging since my AIM days. 😂

My rear end on occasion emits the non-vowel containing sound "fffffftttt".
I try to not do so in face-to-face conversation, but stuff does happen when we wish for it not to at times.

Other than that, no, I can't say that I do use that sort of language.

I'm not sure what 'fffffftttt" even means other a bit of GI relief for myself.

If anyone can flesh out the meaning of the "fffffftttt" sound, chime in and let me know.

I use acronyms for stuff with cuss words, but I did that since before text/sms was a thing. FU, SMD, GFY.

But I'm nothing like the teenage girls who say "lol" and "by the way" to me like I'm one of their retarded friends.

Regarding the update, GAG changes our acronyms to the actual words, so replies like mine are confusing because I put the acronym and didn't actually write "by the way." I'm going to text some ways around their stupid editing:

Not often. I might say "BRB", or "burb". I also occasionally say "WTF" or "lol".
