Yesterday went to the disc golf and we must of threw about 3 discs for about 5 minutes and makes this excuse “it’s better when everyone is here” and wanted to leave but he will play full rounds of disc golf when I’m not there. Just felt like his effort was half assed and speeding in the car to get home to do nothing

That’s very passive aggressive for someone who isn’t communicating these things to the person causing them. Rather than being avoidant and ghosting your dad try talking to him so there’s an opportunity for him to correct these things. If you’re gonna say you already tried and it doesn’t work then sure, have some distance from your dad.
Was playing disc golf something you wanted to do?
Is he aware his actions and behavior make you feel excluded?
I said I was down for a game but after 5 minutes of playing the excuses and the disinterested faces comes out.
This entire visit has just seemed half assed and rushing to get back home to do nothing
Yeah, everything you're saying is valid. I would be upset too if I were in your shoes
Yeah kinda stings tbh
Seems you're boring to him. Maybe make the effort to connect with your dad better?
I try but doesn’t listen all he talks about his work
