Why do people online seem to have such terrible grammar?

[MUSICTOKU099125]

Like very few i meet online can talk properly, English or any language. Like I find it ridiculous. And a bit annoying and it makes them look unintelligent

[Anonymous]

People write fast, often om their phones, and don’t check for mistakes before posting. Also, a lot of people are writing in their second or third language. For example a lot of people on here and other forums don’t have English as their native language.

[MUSICTOKU099125]

Why are there more non English speakers online than there are actual English speakers?

[Melody90]

People type quickly and rarely bother proofreading. Phones sometimes change words or create mistakes. Not everyone has had the same opportunities to learn grammar. Many people communicate online in a second or third language.

[Pterodon]

It isn’t them it’s you. Nobody gives a fuck about grammar except stupid teachers that are anal as fuck about it

[MUSICTOKU099125]

BECAUSE I can't UNDERSTAND YOU IF YOU can't SPEAK PROPER GRAMMAR

[MUSICTOKU099125]

AND IT MAKES YOU UNINTELLIGENT

[Pterodon]

I’m worldly and have been around the world and I’ve never had a problem commuting with anyone except teachers that criticize stupid shit like this

[MUSICTOKU099125]

What? How?

[MUSICTOKU099125]

Do you understand gibberish too?

[Pterodon]

It’s more important to be able to communicate in a persons language even if it is broken English full of grammatical errors than to speak “proper” grammar. You speak proper to some and they wouldn’t understand you

[MUSICTOKU099125]

Typing isn't the same as speaking,

[Pterodon]

I never learned to type. I hen peck with one finger. I talk

[MUSICTOKU099125]

You’re usually a phone! Everyone types

[MUSICTOKU099125]

It’s the 21st century age of technology

[Pterodon]

I’m telling you. I can communicate with most everyone except English majors or teachers. I understand gibberish, you don’t. Now who’s really educated?

[MUSICTOKU099125]

You’re probably just unintelligent but whatever

[MUSICTOKU099125]

Nobody understands gibberish

[MUSICTOKU099125]

Because that’s not a language

[Pterodon]

How would you know? You don’t speak it

[MUSICTOKU099125]

I can tell you’re trolling hard

[7Phoenix7]

I mean, you’re kinda proving your own point here lol. Unless that was the joke.

[MUSICTOKU099125]

Wtf do you mean

[valentina4eva]

i have terrible grammar/spelling when i text because i have bad habits i never grew out of & because i usually text too fast!!😅🙈

[Anonymous]

I counted 5 grammatical errors in your post.

[Abbycado]

You’ve just done the same. XD

[MUSICTOKU099125]

What? What did i type wrong?

[7Phoenix7]

@Abbycado

[MUSICTOKU099125]

You’re all immature, I’m blocking you

[Anonymous]

Please

[MUSICTOKU099125]

What?

[Opinion Owner]

[MUSICTOKU099125]

What? What did i type wrong?
