What can I expect and what can I do to make myself more comfortable with it?
Have you ever been to a nude beach? What was it like?
What can I expect and what can I do to make myself more comfortable with it?
My first time at a nude beach I was petrified and then I got there and saw all the hundreds of naked people, young old, fat skinny, gorgeous ugly. I looked around and felt very self conscious being the only one wearing clothes. I started getting weird looks. I actually felt out of place with clothes on and wasn't able to relax until I got my clothes off. One issue is that most guys first time at a nude beach get an erection. The girl who I went with warned me of this so we had sex just before we left the hotel room for the beach. I didn't get an erection the entire time I was on the beach and it felt so free to just walk around naked in front of hundreds of people who just didn't care if they could see your private parts or not. Swimming naked is also much better. One thing though I still recommend wearing foot wear of some sort especially while wading if in southern waters. Oh and tons of waterproof sun block. add the sun block every 30-60 minutes or whatever the instructions on the bottle say.
Erections is natural for guys if you want to hide it what's the point of being naked if no freedom and have to worry about it.
I feel that's stupid
@Aakash_Hangargi Because nudists usually don't get erections when around other nudists so you are easily spotted as a new be if you have one. Plus keep in mind some nude resorts or clothing optional resorts have minors on the beach and parents don't take kindly to you walking around in front of their little kids with an erection. The probably won't say anything assuming it's your first time but they also will probably glare at you if you come within 50 feet of their family.
Nude beaches, and other venues, are an excellent way for women, and men, to get through body image issues. It helped my wife so much she actually testified before the state legislature of where we lived against an anti-nudity bill that we won.

Nothing to it! It is usually not what you think. You find a secluded spot. Take a couple of wind breaks. I doubt whether you will see many people, unless it is a really popular place.
You may encounter guys spying on you. They don't bother me, as the 6' plus guy I am with soon scares them off.
Watch out for the posers. Guys that stand on their towel gazing out to sea, showing off their bits. Not many of them about. Get your guy to carry a small hand towel with him, just in case he gets a stiffy! Never seen one myself, as it is not allowed at sun clubs.
One other point. Do not think naturist beaches are the domain of young people only. You will eventually seem people of all ages, shapes and sizes!
There are usually more men. Single guys hoping to find that very rare single girl. They sure are at the wrong place. I have a few female friend that venture on to beaches occasionally, but they sure don't want to be approached.
You might find that a sun club is better for you. Real naturists with no sexual intent. Depends a lot on where you live. My mum is a naturist from birth, just as I am. The whole family belongs to two clubs in different areas of UK. Nude swimming at them is amazing!
Go for it! It feels so free and easy!
@Red_Arrow Agreed! I was just thinking of UK beaches. Not that we have many decent ones now. Best one my family go to is Studland Bay, down in Dorset
Yup! Long time no see! I hope you are well.
Nudity is not un-modest unless you present it in a deviant way.
Take for example the Weimar Republic where everything was sexualized and people driven into poverty were only given one option to survive and that was to sexualize everything for the wealthy international bankers and corporate executives.
Then as if in retaliation people voted for the NSDAP to fix this broken society.
Then people were happy and free, no more poverty or sexuale degeneracy.
Nudity was allowed at any beach, nobody was bothered by it.
We are all natural beings, why not show it?
It is only the unnatural that we should be repelled from, such as the Weimar Republic we live in today.
We can not vote our way out of this time but we can defy it.
I went one time, and I think it's an overrated thing. I think just going to a regular beach is better. As for accepting your body for what it is...
This would be my only analogy...
The first time you go into an adult toy store, you might be worried that everyone will stop and look at you and wonder why you're there. But in the end, you're darn near invisible, because no one gives a flying fuck about you... because they're in the same boat.
Give it a shot. If it's not your thing, you can just leave.
We love nude beaches. Everyone is kinda chill and low key. For a guy not getting a boner is the hardest part. I found it best if we had a few rounds of sex before going there to avoid a boner.
They are way fun! Try it. There are bodies of all shapes and sizes no need to be embarrassed!
Don't forget sunscreen for the sensitive parts!
It's normal to be nervous at first. But I think you'll be surprised how quickly you become comfortable with it when you realize that when everyone else is nude it's like no one is nude (if you get my meaning). And it's true that it promotes a healthy acceptance of your body. After the newness is gone you'll feel it to be liberating.
I've been a weekend nudist (in summertime) since college. I go to a naturist club nearby that's on several hundred acres of wooded land with hiking trails and of course swimming pools and other amenities. It's a very chill and accepting environment and contrary to what some people think it's nonsexual. There are rules of conduct about that. Going there is very relaxing. Nude recreation isn't for everyone but I encourage people to try it.
How much does it cost to be at this resorts?
I love them. Been to a few over the world, in 5 different countries! It is different everywhere
most are secluded, Ull be on ur own and won’t see many people. Just some people walking on the beach. Ull find ur own spot and do whatever u like.
some beaches, are like more of a nudity community and stuff like that so it’s a smaller beach and more crowded. Interesting experience , Ull have to not give a shit big time and be complete with urself. And it’s just great.
it’s a lie no one looks, my girlfriend looks way more than me. But just be fine with it. I never saw anyone from there ever, not even in my country. So who gives a f”
It's a dream that won't come true 😂.
But yeah all the best to you and enjoy.
I feel it could be freeing like being conscious of your body but it won't make you feel confident of your body its about acceptance it's in mind actually.
I always had a thing for voyeurism to see women naked on those beaches.
It might seem like something new at the begining then it will be just same all the thoughts about sexuality would vanish.
Since you have a partner it would be exciting for you
If you are confident with your body and don't care for ur surroundings then just go for it.
For sure lots of boys will stare at you at first and if you don't mind then no problem.
Like it or not all men love to see nude women. However when men have seen it again and again, they will get used to with ur nude body and feel nothing special too.
Well if men keep seeing ur nude body all the time that means ur nude body is so attractive for them.
I think you got their validation and they admit just with ur nude body, you could capture their eyes and attentions.
If you don't feel comfortable then don't show off ur nude body by going to nudist beach.
Believe me in the end men will get bored if they see ur nude body everyday. You could ask ur boyfriend and if he sees you nude everday, I think he will also feel bored and nothing special too.
At first sure it's a joy for most men but not for a long time.
Neither of us can relate to that. We are both very much excited seeing each other naked. Like I said, looking at my body is cool, but staring and being creepy is not. I find many people attractive but I don't stand there staring at them like a brain damages oaf that's never seen titties before.
Men are created to be visual type. Surely all men will love to see nude body of women for the first time.
Maybe there are some men that keeps staring and look creepy but not all men are like that. Some men though they like to see ur nude body, they also don't really keep staring at you.
I mean the problem is at you not with the men. As you could control how you react but you can't control other people's reaction.
if you don't mind and don' think too much then no problem or if you don't feel comfortable then just go there, as simple as that.
You can't expect when you go there all men will not keep staring at you, you can't control other people's behavior. It's out of ur control.
Yes, in California when I was much younger. My wife and I tried it. What do you want to know? Will you be naked? Yup. Will everyone else be naked, yup for the most part all of them will. Once you see a 75-year-old granny with her tits on her kneecaps and gramps with his balls lower than his dick, you'll forget allll about any body images of yourself. At 20 you might catch a hardon or two. They're newbies unless it's your boyfriend.
Know the beach. They are often broken up in zones. Typically the first part you arrive in from parking or entry is the family part. There will sometimes be kids.
The second zone which often have some space is where the single and swinger types might reside. They are not all there to hookup or be sexual, but you might see some people socializing and single girls (often in groups) getting hit on and maybe heavy petting, romantic and voyueur types.
Third zone, can get raunchy. There might be sex, and cameras everywhere. There also might a gay zone in, or nearby. Do your research before going. Be nice and know the rules or the beach, or guidelines from the locals. Also know laws as some beaches have ordinances. The beach near me is topless, but not full nude. You will get a ticket if fully nude.
I say give it a shot. If you don't like it, you don't have to go back and at least you had a life experience.
Nude beaches are rarely full of nothing but beautiful bodies, so just relax, be who you are and have a little fun on a daring adventure. Remember that everyone else is probably self conscious too.
You will probably find that it is not everything you fear it might be. It's just naked people at the beach.
Be yourself, be naked, have fun :)
I do go to the sauna sometimes and here those are nude. You might feel uneasy at first, but later you kinda forget about it. I like it, because it makes me feel more confident in my body. Not because I'm comparing myself, but there's something freeing about being nude and not embarrassed.
I have, it was surprisingly relaxing. Was actually a bit nervous at first so I was in the water up to my waist, but once i realized people were acting the same as any other beach it was fun. And yeah a few people will probably stare but honestly you get that at regular beaches too
Nope. I have no intention of going out naked in public. I get nothing from that. If my girl got naked in public then I'd dump.
If she came home and said she had gone naked at the beach around other men I'd walk right out the door and be done with her forever.
For my eyes only. If she isn't down with that then she's not girlfriend/wife material.
I’ve wanted to go because I love swimming naked. Nothing like no swimsuit material holding you back.
My grandma has a house in Greece. I suppose I will go one year.
I have only been to a Topless beach when on vacation with my mom and brother
Crazy that society has gotten to the point where people feel uncomfortable in their birthday suits. It's literally natural to be naked so I say go do it and embrace yourself for what you are. Don't think too much. Life is short.
Yeah. I've been to the beach in Barcelona, Spain and there it doesn't' matter what you wear. So plenty of people are in swimsuits but plenty are also totally nude. And a fair number of the girls are just in bottoms. It's all good!
Where are you thinking of going?
I have. happen to be one next to the ordinary one there I live.
Isn't special.
There gonna be people that looks little extra ( not always ) . even amongst females.
We all are humans and get attracted to what we get attracted to bye nature without thinking of it.
People that tries to hide they are only gonna come off as creepy.
as you enter the beach, stop and select a spot to place your blanket. walk directly to that place and set up your stuff... do not stare at other people or try to be too friendly. sit down on your blanket and get naked and lay down, on your stomach if you are shy, then your back when you are more relaxed. Don't over think it, just do it. You will Love the feeling of freedom... I Promise
