I visited the Mayan ruins and discovered they were tiny. But I did not have a bad day, got amazing conversation with my tour guides, had complimentary tacos and drinks, got to see the Mexican country side, and got to swim inside a beautiful cave where I took amazing pics on my phone.

there's this place called wonderworld. it has it's own name on signs and exits and it's own road named after it. signs that lead all the way to it. i'd never been and always wondered about it haha, so i made it a mission to go. i get there and it's this rundown possibly condemned kiddie park that might rival a local carnival but with less rides. i was so disappointed

I visited Mt. Saint Helens and The Grand Canyon and was sorely disappointed at both destinations.
They were both completely unobservable due to extremely heavy fog. I couldn't see 10 feet in front of me at either location.
I'm sure they'd been impressive if I could have seen them.
I can't think of any attractions that I've visited that weren't up to their hype.
Vatican City and the entire city of Rome. Don't get me wrong, the city is interesting, but the shitty people who live there completely ruin the place. I've never seen so many liars and robbers in one city
