What tourist spots in the world are still worth going to?

It must have been nice in the 1960s and 70s when they weren’t overrun by so many people all the time.

Bit of a hard list to make, as there are places I visited several years ago and I don't know how they are now. Others have changed within a year/couples years of me being year.

But I will say VENICE, POMPEII, PISA, CHICHEN ITZA, UXMAL, TEOTIHUACAN, CUSCO/MACHU PICCHU, COLONIAL CARIBBEAN, HAWAII, MOST PLACES IN TURKEY, QUEBEC CITY, DEATH VALLEY, MONTEREY BAY, LAKE TAHOE

And those are only the places I've been to. Surely there are more, but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I left out the ones I haven't visited within the last decade.
