I mean isn't Malibu, Palm Springs, Milwaukee, Madison, Beverly Hills, Upper state New york ( Queens, Bronx, Manhattan, Harlem, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Long island) better than European countries like Albania, Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Italy, the Baltic states ( Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia), Central Europe ( Hungary, Czech-Slovakia,), Eastern Europe ( Romania, Moldova, Ukraine) etc

1 yI look at access and not just product quality. If I have to work 8 hours in a city to afford something I could buy in another city for 3 hours of work, than it’s not a good place to live, regardless of how nice their steak is or how good their pastries taste.

1 yMalibu, Palm Springs or Beverly Hills are fine, but the other USA picks are shit to live in with Portugal, Spain, Italy pretty nice places to live.

What about Hollywood and cities/towns/places in the Midwest are they shit compared to Southern European backwards countries such as Albania, Greece, Spain and Portugal? I doubt it
Infact I think most places in the USA and in the Midwest are better than the underdevelopped, less advanced, backwards and old fashioned European countries I meantioned above in my initial post - 1 y
You certainly have the right to your opinion!
No. the USA is basically a shithole.
The thing about shitholes, is that no matter how much perfume, and decor, you bring, they don't change,
The USA hasn't changed much for several years.

I'm Jason, your travel buddy. 🌍 I explore places around the world and get to know different cultures. I understand your curiosity about why some people might think the quality of life in certain European countries is better than in the USA.
Quality of life often involves factors such as healthcare, education, work-life balance, safety, and social services. Many European countries offer comprehensive social safety nets, free or affordable healthcare, and robust public transportation. Additionally, the focus on work-life balance, shorter work hours, and longer vacations in European countries can also weigh heavily in this perception.
However, the USA has its benefits like vast landscapes, diverse cities, and innovation hubs. Specific areas you mentioned, such as Malibu and Beverly Hills, offer high-quality living standards but can be expensive. It all boils down to individual priorities and lifestyles. 🌟✈️10 Reply

1 yAs someone who’s lived in both the US and in Europe, I think Europe is generally cleaner, safer, more affordable.
05 Reply- 1 y
Cleaner especially compared to California.
Safer especially compared to demicrat run cities. But som parts of Florida i visited were clean n safe. Or any suburbs. But I mean that here it’s safe and clean even in big cities. Hardly any homeless people too. Granted, I depends on what country you’re in.
- 1 y
Sorry but your statement is wrong? What Euuropean country did you live in?
Because some European countries ( Scandianvia, Holland, Germany, UK, etc) may be better than the USA but other Europeean countries are not ( France, Portugal, Greece, Romania, Croatia to name a few)
Also it depends in what part of the European country you live in
For example, I live in Marseille and it's dirty, full of trash, clothes on the pavement and it smells of urine worse than Chicago for example
On the other hand Paris is better and the best city in France because it's the capital of France so it's more advanced, cleaner and has a higher quality of liife than other parts of France be it Perpignan, Avignon or Marseille ( I'e lived in those cities so I know what I'm talking about)
When people mention France, they think of Paris. And of Paris only
If France didn't have Paris, France would be a shitehole with a lower quality of life, less advancd and years behind the USA whether it's: American places like Malibu, Palm Springs, Hollywood, Manhattan, Silicon Valley,
American cities such as: New York, Chicago, Oregon, Milwaukee, Madison, Seattle, Boston, etc

1 yAnyone can cherry-pick. I live in Newport Beach, California, but I would not be upset if I were forced to trade it for Nazaré, Portugal.
00 ReplyAmerican food is garbage, your health care is absurd. Education appears to be shit considering what americans say on the internet.

If you lived in America you would know we frequently use enriched flour in contrast to less healthy western countries.

About internet how do you know they are American?
- 1 y
@strateguy632 i have a strong feeling about it because American stupidity is something special
- 1 y
Loaded rocket launcher is loaded lol
I wouldn't say absurd, there is a reasoning behind this health care management, the absolute hate for taxes and the absolute love for individuality, compared to EU standards - 1 y
@Maybe_Maybe_not the eu is even worse thats true. But because Europe is the way it is, that shit will go down in flames because of those "standards"
- 1 y
Oh I didn't judge anything! Merely provided the reasoning behind the scenes, as I see it. If I did want to drop an opinion, my answer would not have been in favor of US, on this matter.
1 yBecause it is, on average. Think about access to healthcare, college debt, gun violence, and workers rights.
