What's your opinion of failed incel bomber, Cole Carini?

A 23yo incel from Virginia, he got admitted into a local medical center last Tuesday, on June 2nd, with severe injuries. When the local authorities inquired about the cause of his extreme injuries, he claimed that he'd gotten them in a lawnmower accident. However, due to the serious nature of the injuries, and to the fact that he'd previously been convicted on charges related to explosives, the FBI investigated the case, and got a search warrant for his home. and soon found out that he'd been making a bomb, idolizing Elliot Rodgers, and planned to detonate it in a shopping mall, in a suicide attack against a group of women he described as “hot cheerleaders.” In the course of making the bomb though, it went off, completely blowing off one of his hands and all of his fingers on his remaining hand.

Currently, Carini only faces one charge, of lying to federal investigators, according to the U. S. Attorney’s Office. So then, what do you make of this case? And do you think he should be prosecuted for his attempted incel bombing plot? Or do you feel that karma's already dished out a fittingly severe punishment for the attack he was trying to carry out?

Why does the "incel" label matter to you so much? You sound obsessive, especially considering how irrelevant it is to the crime.

I don't care who the mastermind is, or who the intended victims are; a terrorist is a terrorist, and a murderer is a murderer. More than a few have totally f*cked themselves up with their own bombs, and while it amuses me that he's left himself a mess, he deserves to be buried so deep that he never sees the sun again. Unfortunately, the evidence sounds like it won't be enough to go that far, so he'll probably just end up getting a few years.

It doesn't matter to me at all. It mattered to him a lot, though, since that's what he referred to himself as in his manifesto, and his third-person written account of/plan for the bombing attack he was plotting to carry out. Go figure...

I don’t know anything about the case, but if he that’s what he was doing I’m sure they can find something in 18 U. S. Code § 842. He might get 10-20 years just on that. As to the rest of that shit, this isn’t minority report. You charge someone with crimes they have committed not ones you think they will commit.

He will get 5 year tge maximum for lying to the FBI but he has no fingers left so he can't build more bombs also he was building a bomb to kill several people and it blew up in his face and he survived clearly he is shitty at making bombs to start with
