I feel bad for Balenciaga. These companies do literally hundreds of campaigns. You can tell this was one on the lower end in terms of budget. It seems very likely to me that they hired a photographer who seemed like a safe bet in terms of getting professional shots. He was a national geographic photographer and they are notorious for rejecting anything that isn't very well done work. You usually need a lot of expensive gear and skill to work for them.

I can totally see how they might have sent the photographer a treatment that probably said something along the lines of "show the teddy bear in bondage gear to juxtapose it with youth, success and individuality"

Which I can see how a very left leaning nat geo photographer who probably worked very hard to get to the point they can do something "creative" and radical to try and break out. So to be honest I don't even blame the photographer (at least, I'll ignore it since I know nothing about him) I think the media is to blame for normalizing things like drag shows for kids.

Balenciaga is arguably the biggest fashion brand right now and there's probably a small number of people managing hundreds of assets and delegating tasks to underpaid interns straight out of college. I know it sounds crazy, but that's the industry. Especially in fashion. It's a lot of moving parts moving at a break-neck speed so I think this is a pretty understandable mistake.

You want to talk about using children for disgusting things? Look at the trend in fashion right now that other companies are adopting where they take underage girls and try to make you want to fuck them as badly as possible by shooting booty shots, showing girls laughing and playing with other girls at the beach and zooming in on feminine features in juxtaposition.

Saw that the last time I went into the city on a big billboard and I really didn't like it. There were a lot of brands doing it.

This is always where it leads. Without God, there's a thirst for significance, to justify existence. Lacking that, mankind seeks whatever pacifier is out there. Pedophilia is one of the final forbidden fruits. So when every other form of sexual rebellion ceases to bring satisfaction, that one is the end road. So the Sexual Revolution crowd must always hit a wall at some point, where obsession with the corruption and exploitation of minors becomes the ultimate exertion of one's desired autonomy in the void. The murder of innocence becomes the final stepping stone, always.

Thus, a world in rebellion finds itself with an out of control pedophile problem.

my opinion is that the "smoking gun" was the court ruling on pedo shit that they purposefully put into the photos. There's no excuse, reason, marketing or otherwise that would say that's a good idea to throw into a children's clothing add. Can't pretend it was an accident. They wanted it there for a reason. I'm happy to see truths like this being revealed, but I'm still wishing and hoping that something is actually done to hold these people accountable. Maybe that's 2023's plan. :)

Clothes for little girls? If any parent buying them for their daughters then they probably need a therapist.

Clothes for adults? Then you probably need something really hardcore to buy stuff with a little girl as a model. I can get it if you put a model in a sexy school girl outfit and a kinky teddy bear. Cosplay and stuff but this ain't it.
