He LOVES violent career criminals, and handles them with kid gloves. He refuses to prosecute them, so they get released to do more violent crimes. I realize that being pushed to your death in front of a New York subway car isn't as serious as paying hush money to a porn star, but why not prosecute both? Have people lost their minds?

All prosecutors selectively prosecute. It’s the nature of the game. There isn’t the time or resources to pursue every crime. Trump’s prosecution here is probably due to the more serious crimes he’ll likely be indicted for later. So I do think there’s political motivation here to pile on more charges. However, if it’s proven he actually committed these crimes, it’s hard to complain about consequences. Too often powerful people expect a free pass and it shouldn’t work that way.

No. There was obviously enough evidence for an indictment. I just think the decision was somewhat political because powerful people usually get a free pass. There’s always been a two-tiered system of justice that protected them. If this was George Bush or Bill Clinton, I wonder if it would’ve been pursued.
