another total will be by britan in a couple years. 4 more total were predicted in the next 5 years. not including part eclipses over u. s.

i think it is cool to imagine how big the earth must be that we can be far enough apart to see different angles of eclipses. part and total.

it is also cool that the apparent size of the moon , is just right PRECISE to cover all the sun. in contrast to FURTHER it would not cover all just cause a big bright zero "o".

the distance is just right to cover the sun completely... all the way to the edge, so you gotta ask who put it at that distance? and made its spin rate seem artificial.

is it possible all this moon stuff was not by nature but planned and implemented by some hi tec e. t? it just doesn't seem random? or simply god made it that way?

Very impressive. TV views from many cities as the path of the shadow advanced. Even shots from space! Imagine the people in very backward places that had no knowledge of what was happening! And of the past when even well read people did not understand.

I can definitely understand how before people knew why eclipses happened they believed it was a sign from their deities or a signal that the world was ending.

It was good. I watched many of the online cams along the route of totality, and I watched the sun at my place, not totality but 80% was noticesbly darker and cooler, and neat to look at through certified glasses.

I thought it was nice. It always warms my heart to see people get excited about things like that. Life has been rough recently. The eclipse gave them a chance to forget about all of that for a few minutes.

I wasn't at a location directly impacted by the eclipse, although my city did go under a short period of semi-darkness. Good thing it was very cloudy or else my eyes would've been damaged.
