I wouldn’t mind it but I’d rather you buy me something I can use/eat than something to just look at that will get thrown in the bin in a few days. Or just say/do something nice for me. It’s really the thought that counts in this case but there are more effective ways of showing affection for most guys I would think. Your guy might really love flowers though so hard to say.

Unconventional, yes. I received a flower and a note when I was in 7th grade, it was from a girl in 6th grade. She wrote a lot of notes... and then she slapped me few weeks later because she thought I had sex with her friend... her friend was pretty but I just smiled at her, not sure what they told eachother about me
Haha, your update sounds like my mom. She hates receiving flowers. She thinks its a waste of money and time to have dying flowers on her table.
I don't think guys really care about flowers. It's not weird though if you know the guy and think he'd appreciate them. I'm sure some guys would be happy to receive flowers.
I posted a question a while back asking if guys would like to be given flowers. A few said they wouldn't appreciate it, but most said they would like it. Personally, buying flowers for a guy would never cross my mind

I don't think it's weird if they like them. I was planning on getting some for my guy.
Kinda... Maybe... So first, Id try to keep them alive. Make them look good and put them on display. Be like "Hey, look at these. You got them for me, I took care of them"
If that meant nothing to her... Plan B... They getting tied to fireworks and made into an epic display. It's okay, but I'd prefer something practical or specific to me.
Flowers and chocolates are gifts you give someone when you don't know what they like so they can sometimes seem a bit low effort, not that it's bad but personally I'd prefer a gift focused around my interests.
Of course this would also be true of me if I gave you a presentEh, while I would appreciate the gesture, I don't find flowers to be all that great. They're ridiculously expensive and die quicker than a black guy in an 80's horror film.
Want to get me flowers? Get me ones I can plant in the ground and tend to.Honestly I'd appreciate it. It's a gift, a nice proof of attention and love. I'd like it.
But I think it would be the same with any gift. What matter is the thought you put behind. Give me anything you made with love, even a drawing, and I'll like it.Id appreciate the thought, effort and gesture. I don't really have that much interest in flowers but the its the though that counts. Id probably go with his favorite snack or something else and just add a valentines package.
Fundamentally guys aren't interested in flowers in the way girls are. But girls that give guys flowers are just doing what they like since they don't grasp what a guy would appreciate. So for that reason I can at least appreciate the thought. But I feel like it registers on a whole other level when women receive flowers.
everyone is different in their love language. some guys may love just one flower. others may see no value. You just have to try it.
we love to hear "respect".It’s not weird it just not something they will enjoy , men like toys / gadgets.
( watches , car parts , drones , video games , etc )Not weird, I just don't like buying flowers or receiving flowers
You can buy chocolate with this money smhI don't think it's weird. Men just don't like flowers the way us women normally do. They'll be a waste to get for most men.
It's different, but I definitely wouldn't care, I'd very much appreciate the gesture/effort. Definitely depends on the person though.
No, we just see it as a complete waste of money
If you’re gonna spend the money, spend it on something we’ll useI was wondering the same thing when I just red the mytake about the power of flowers 🤔
Don't know about other guys but i really love the flowers 😍 and it makes me happy and boost the mood if I'm sad😊
Yes, it's beyond weird. Why oh why do women think that men are just like women? One would think by 20 years old you would understand this.
If you give something it shows you put effort and thought. To me that would show you're really into me and care about me.
I'm not so interested in receiving flowers per se as I am appreciative of the thought and effort it takes to buy and have flowers delivered.
I got flowers once, I really didn't know what to do with them. It was kinda sad to throw them out at some point.
Nope , i would accept flowers / roses from a girl
for Valentines Day or any other special day.
