How about we boycot every single hoilday. Just fwi if the guy don't like spending money on valtines. Find a smart girl who don't like it valtines there are people that don't cause valtines sucks.
Valentine's Day was originally celebrated because a Christian priest smuggled letters out of prison and then he was killed. It is celebrated by sending letters so just say it's not following tradition if you are inclined to buy something. Write a letter. No one does that anymore.
A number of my female friends did things for me for Valentine's Day, just saying...

I mean it's only one day out the year (365) where women (who are in relationships) are treated as a privileged male in this man-made sexist world. What gives?
Not for the same reason, but I would like to see Vday go away. I believe it is simply unnecessary. If a couple is in a healthy, loving relationship then there is no need for it anyways.
My thoughts are you are either a sad, lonely and frustrated little loser, or you're stuck with the wrong woman :) My wife gets me a present every Valentine's since we've met, so, yeah.

Nope, I'm married and my wife is not one of the women I'm talking about. But she does know a shit ton of women who believe Valentines day is all about women. She's the one who gave me the idea to post this.
I take it you’re single or in a loveless relationship.

No, not at all. I'm married to a good woman. My thoughts on Valentines day are based on my observations and hers about how many women view the holiday and what they think it's about.
Stop whining about it, as males we have certain obligation towards women, when we celebrate love between companions it often accompanied by a man trying to prove his love as best as he can which is completely natural. Well, that's how humans are acting on it for centuries. Men always have the role of a provider and women always have the role of a caretaker. So it balances itself out.
I've never gone out on one. Never made a decision not to, just never observed it (but then it wasn't a thing in my growing-up culture, we did March 8 when you buy flowers to your teachers and mom and aunts/all the adult females)
Nah, I dig it. It's like date night, but with a little something extra added. I dig romancing my lady and kind of enjoy having a minor holiday centered around that.
I mean I kind of boycott it by default, bein single n all... I would boycott all the holidays if I could though, especially birthdays, what a disgusting thing birthdays are. They make sense for kids but not for adults

No, that would be ridiculous and extreme.
Valentines day is about love in general. This world can make anyone cold, it's a reminder to give and love.

They want all the days. Don’t you know that? ;)
@Anoniemus I see that now smh. Us poor women lol
That’s dumb especially when many give each other gifts. Go be alone in the corner by yourself. No one cares.
That isn’t sexism. Men are hard to buy for or simply want sex. You’re such a loser... lol

Why not respect the real meaning of Valentine's Day... Instead of saying nonsense words just spread true meaning of love..
Because the real meaning of Valentines day is not what most women see it as.
Is really only the women or even men?

Yeah, I'll take "made up bullshit" for 500, Alex! 😆
Dude, we have steak and blowjob day on August 14! February 14 is all about women, but August 14 is all about guys.
Just find a cooler woman, we are heading out camping for valentines
Bullshit but you can boycott whatever you want. Nobody forces you to celebrate anything.

So your wife is on board with you boycotting Valentines Day?
We don't celebrate it because we both see it as an over commercialized joke and a one sided holiday for women.

This was written for you.

A flower and a card isn't all that hard to do and you both get sex in the end. I'd say it's a good day in my opinion
A woman isn't making the man spend that much. He is doing it by himself.
I've never gone out on one. Never made a decision not to, just never observed it (but then it wasn't a thing in my growing-up culture, we did March 8 when you buy flowers to your teachers and mom and aunts/all the adult females)

Basically.
Men don't have to boycott though. Personally, I don't give a fuck about Valentine's Day. I'm not going to do what the rest do.

Ummm no! I fully intend to surprise my boyfriend with gifts on Valentine’s Day. It goes both ways!
