i dated this boy for 9 months and we departed due to him going of for college and me staying home going to college as well. I wanted to make it work, but I guess he didn't or just couldn't do it , which brought a lot of arguments and confusion cause we both wanted to be together and love one another. well we argued way too much and then stopped talking all together, then started contacting each other still then we both just gave and stopped talking. he came into town 2months ago I believe?without informing me, and he never called me, or came to visit. I was devastated. then my b day arrived and I was hoping he would wish me a happy b day and he did. he wished me a happy b day in a text the day before my bday. it was early in the morning when it was sent..like 5 something in the morning. anyways I told him thanks and it was tom and he said he knew, but he wanted to be the first to tel me. that made my day cause i thought he may not be over me, but he could of just been nice. idk! I don't get how he makes such a huge effort to send me a happy b day text but doesn't make any effort to come see me? what you guys think? was he just being polite or what?
