Men who like to chase vs. Men who liked to be chased?

I'm the kind of man who likes to be hunted.

I don't know how the preference came about other than the fact that I just became used to it.

I'm more likely to try and lure a girl to me than to go and get her myself.

Examples of things this kind of guy may do:

1. Tell you to call or text him about something. But if you don't, he won't just call you instead.

(He wants to probe whether or not you're interested enough to call him for something)

2. Initiate questionably sensual physical contact(stroking your hand, touching your chin, touching your face or hair) and then completely drop it and do something else or walk off.

(It's essentially to tease you, like a game of cat and mouse. If it's a common thing, try to hold the contact for longer each time.)

3. In a crowded room or group of people, he'll hold eye contact with you for several seconds and perhaps smile or smirk.

(If he does it twice, it's safe to go over and talk to him. Thrice, and he's almost calling you over. Just say

"hi". He'll take it from there.)

4. Approach you while you're with some friends and say a general hello to everyone, but perhaps refer to you by name and shoots some small talk for a couple seconds.

(It's an opportunity for flirting, and he knows that as soon as he walks off, your friends are going to ask about him. This will force you and your friends to discuss who he is to you and how you feel about him. Once you actually have to talk about it, you'll start to like him more. He knows this, and he'll play on this)

5. Idle in a location where he knows you may come across him, but the reason he's actually there is unclear.

(He's creating reasons to let you see him. Take the bait and stop by and talk to him.)

6. Goes out of his way to find reasons to talk to you, but keeps it precariously brief every time.

(He wants to leave you wanting more. Want to see more of him? Ask to do lunch or get some coffee. He wants some 1 on 1 time, but he doesn't want it in passing.)
