So me and my ex dated for 4 months until we broke up the first time. We broke up because he still had feelings for his ex-girlfriend. After that, we became best friends and I was always there for him and encouraged him to get back with her. Well it's been over a year since that happened and we've been on and off ever since. Even when we weren't together we still messed around. We had feelings for each other for a long time, but there were times when he was such a jerk towards me that I wanted to move on. It was like he wanted me to be there for him, but he didn't want to be there for me when I needed him. And he feels it's ok for him to like other girls, but when I like someone he gets all jealous and wants to get back with me.

And then a month ago, he got back into this "I'm not over my ex" mood again and he tells me that we shouldn't really mess around anymore. I told him I was cool with it bcuz I was starting to like another guy anyway. Before I told him tho, he had seen pics of us on my myspace and he kinda stopped talking 2 me.

Recently, I started dating this other guy and so far everything's great, but the thing is that as soon as I told my ex that I was dating a new guy, he stopped talking to me... completely. Then a week later he started dating another girl. We still don't talk to this day! When we pass each other in the halls we just walk by each other as if we've never had a conversation in our life. I don't understand whats going on bcuz we used to talk ALL the time. There were times when we were kinda inseparable. So in a nutshell, he tells me he's not over his ex, stops talking to me because I'm dating a new person, and gets a new girlfriend. Can anyone tell what all this means?

It means you've moved on and shouldn't look back. He just wants to know he's still wanted and wants to make you jealous. Don't let it get to you. His behavior is kind of immature. He made the decision to not talk to you, so just let it go. It's probably for the best.
