Alright, I thought of joining a dating website, not really expecting anything grand to come of it, but I thought I'd try it out for fun. I've had it for around a month, and it seems like every time a guy posts a message on it, he's either a complete a**hole, or he's the type of guy who lives in his grandmother's basement and has no idea how to interact around women let alone have a conversation with one >_> I don't mean to stereotype, but that's the majority of the guy's I've gotten. If I make an effort to talk to guys who I find I might get along with, they never return a message, no matter how unique I am with it, or how personable I am. I've tried writing in-depth messages about who I am, and I've written short and sweet messages, but no matter what, they never seem to write back. What am I doing wrong? You could try a different dating site. But I'm not big on internet dating. By reading a few sentences about someone, you really don't find out who they are.
I hadn't heard of that site before. You'll have more potential matches by picking a larger site, but it could cost money.
One suggestion... If you can, break up the text in your About Me section into different paragraphs. It's somewhat difficult to read as one block of text.
