Girls with [only] guy friends.

Question

your thoughts on this opinion: girls with mostly/only guy friends are ugly.or what do guys think of these girls in general? would they ever want to date a girl with mainly guy friends?

I'm a girl whose two best friends are guys and I have more guy friends than girls. Girls just don't like me for some reason. I'm also not the hugest fan of them either. I just feel like I can be myself around guys. With girls, I always and I mean ALWAYS feel like I'll be judged for every single thing I say or do. My best best best friend is a guy and I can completely be myself around him and tell him anything and he won't judge me.

Also, I'm not an idiot. I'm well aware that most of guy friends would jump at the chance to have sex with me if given the opportunity, but we wouldn't date each other. I know of three specifically who have even admitted to their attraction to me and that they'd totally bang me. I've admitted stuff like that to them too. My group of friends are really honest with each other. BUT, despite the fact that we'd bang each other, we still value our friendship whether or not we do have sex. Just to clarify - we don't.

Also, one guy said stuff about daddy issues for girls who are mainly friends with guys. Well, I do have daddy issues, but that's not why I'm friends with mainly guys. Yes, my dad doesn't always give me the attention I need, but I could just as likely be satisfied with getting attention with a friend no matter the gender. Yeah, I want to be #1 to someone, but I don't care if it was a girl or a guy that gave me the attention.

I also can get along civilly with girls. Yes, I know I'm sure I've made mistakes in friendships with girls, but I honestly do not believe I am the reason why friendships with them fail. I try so hard to be a good friend and I am loyal to the end, but I never get appreciated and I am always left out of everything and at some point they all just start to exclude me from everything. They tell me they will stick with me, but they always lie.

There are so many guys that hate on girls because they only have guy friends and I don't get it. I'm not all that different from girls that have mainly girl friends. It's just that I don't get along with girls very well.

I have a lot of male friends and they are all like brothers to me. I'm not naive or blind to any type of attraction they might have. We all sometimes flirt and whatnot, but it's not anything we're going to do anything about. All my friends are perfectly content with friendship. Everybody dates openly and we all hang out just fine. I don't know where this stereotype comes from. It's awesome to have guy friends because they are really about having fun and just relaxing. It's not all deep like it is with girls. Don't get me wrong, I love hanging out with my girls too, but they are more for girly stuff that guys aren't really into (make up, gossip, random love talks/crush babbling, lol).

I love hanging out with my boys because they give good guy advice, offer me lots of great hugs, and have my back if I ever feel scared or something. It's a nice to have. I really hope that people stop being so ignorant about stuff like that. It's not always sexual between guys and girls. There's also the stereotype that the girl is gay or something because she hangs out with dudes, also very untrue.

i think that's an odd correlation scenario you have going on. because of this, I don't quite agree.

it's fact, I'm good looking and I have a lot of guy friends. but I don't flirt with my guy friends. we do stuff like hang out and go paint balling or hiking or whatever, but that's about it. there's not much tojudge based on that, unless of insecurity and not knowing that person very well. just because a girl has a lot of guy friends, I dont' think it means much. you kinda have to look at the individual

First of all you have to understand a lot of the hottest most amazing women are the ones who get along great with guys and have mostly guy friends. Yeah, there are girls who are not great looking who like to have guy friends but I would say the girls who like to hang with guys usually have a better distribution of hotness than girls overall.

But the absolute best kind of girl for us guys is not the one who is ultra girly and talkes about the color pink for 3 hours with her girlfriends. The girls I've always liked the most, had the most fun with, and fallen in love with, have been the girls who like a lot of guy sh*t and like to have fun with guys. Pretty much every guys dreams of meeting a girl who is smoking hot and can talk to you about action movies, drink beer with you while watching football, throw a sweet party, beat you at your favorite game, etc. And when it happens, it's beyond awesome, because every guy wants a girl he can enjoy cool stuff with and do a bunch of cool sh*t with.

Really the only problem is that those kind of girls hang around a sh*t-ton of guys, so even if you're a pretty cool dude its going to be harder to be the coolest guy she knows.

I love this question. Every time I meet a girl who has a ton of guy friends, I usually chuckle at this. I usually tell them, "Do you realize more than half of those guys want to sleep with you"? Sometimes they refuse to believe this until I ask her to ask them all herself. One time a girl was shocked to find out only 1 guy was actually her friend without sexual motives.

That's why I tend to avoid girls with only guy friends, they sometimes are too naive, have too many guys after her, or might be more prone to having sex buddies.

i'm a girl with mostly guy friends so you can form your oppinion from my pic if you feel the need, but to be honest I know plenty of guys who have friends that are girls and those girls are smokin hot, I've had mostly guy friends because I have always been a tomboy and just enjoy doing activities that are viewed as being a "guy thing" like paintballing, fixing cars, playling rough sports, and I just tend to not get along with big groups of girls, there is always a lot of drama and backstabbing, guys just don't do that a lot of the time. I have had boyfriends in the past that have had a problem with it but I told them they had to get over it, my guy friends are friends and that's it, my current boyfriend doesn't mind because he know he can trust me no matter if a guy friend tries to make a move or not.

I think it depends on their friendship. If she is the girl that the guys only see as one of the guys and they treat her like she's one of the guys then I would think it's because they aren't attracted to her and the girl is probably ugly.

But the girl could be pretty and dateable if her guy friends are more flirty with her or want to get with her. Some guys only make friendships with girls because they are too scared to put it out there that they have some interest in her so it could go either way. Generally this girl wouldn't get treated like she's one of the guys though.

I think girls with only guy friends should be held at a distance until you really get to know them. I have dated several girls that only hang out with other guys and every time it came down to one of three reasons.

1. There dad was an ass and treated them poorly or abandoned them so they need attention from males.

2. There dad was such a push over that the only way to feel normal was to be in complete control, which a lot of guys out there gravitate toward the confident woman.

3. The girl just could not get along with other girls civilly. Whether because of competition or because they couldn't lose or share any amount of attention.

I am generally the girl that every guy wants to be best friends with while they date my chick friends, and then they all come to me to complain when things hit the rocks. I love having guy friends with my personal experience they are indeed the best. Lemmy just tell you a few reasons why

1: me and my friends (girls) got in a huge fight I walked over to my guy friends and of course the girls followed me as one of the girls starts talking trash and is getting up in my face one of them rushes over and protects me

2: I have gotten into some fist fights (PS my guy friends are a grade older then me) and one time this new guy started pushing me around so I had enough and pushed him he turned around a grabed me just as he did one of my guy friends walked by and saw, rushed in and pulled him off of me and punched him

3: I had my far share of asshole boyfriends and my boys were always there for me with my favorite ice cream they are always there for me and I love them

I am a sort of a girly girl but I hang out with all guys and they're people too! I'm certainly not ugly and in fact, most of them have liked me at some point. Guys are usually more down-to-earth, not bitchy, funnier, happier, and less likely to start sh*t and gossip about you when your not there. Every girl should have a good guy friend because there more honest and don't complain about stupid sh*t all the time.

i grew up in a small town and every new girl that showed up that the guys got excited about were instantly hated like a girl named Candy who was a model. she only had guy friends because the girls hated her. she was good friends with my guy cousin and I got to know her and she was one of the nicest people I ever met.

Tbh I think the opposite-i think girls with mostly guy friends would be pretty because lots of guys usually only have hot girl friends. A girl being ugly would not stop her from having girl friends. I think having all guy friends can make life a lot easier but can also make it complicated if they start falling for the girl. Maybe a jealous guy would have a problem with it but if a guy is not insecure then he shouldn't mind a girl with only guy friends.

yeah I'm a girl with all guy friends and I don't get along with other girls ... I'm in high school and its hard because I see other girls in groups with their friends and I'm the only girl in a group of guys and I wonder sometimes what I'm missing out on like I try to be friends with girls at my school but it ends up with drama so I just quite I don't know but is it weird? And most of the girls don't like me anyways because I hang out with all the guys.

I have both. I think I have more girl friends than guys. Maybe it's even...who knows! Sometimes I think girls with more guy friends are a tiny bit more insecure. Not all of them of course...just some.
