I lied about being pregnant and getting an abortion will I go to hell?

I'm confused. Did you lie about being pregnant or about taking the morning after pill? Or did you lie about it all to make him feel bad?

From what I read I think you lied about it all - being pregnant and getting an abortion. My best guess that attention was your big motivator to tell him something so painful. He's your ex and you want him to notice you again.

I don't think it's healthy to play mind games so severe with someone - usually lies that big have a way of coming back and biting you in the ass. I understand wanting to hurt someone that hurt you - but we all feel that way. It's what we do with that feeling that really matters. Learn to control yourself - you can't punish people for not feeling the way you want them to. Now you are going to have to live with this lie - what's going to happen when he tell people what you've done? Are you willing to continue the farce in order to save face? And think about what he's going to have to live with believing you. Even though you didn't ask - I think you should do one selfless thing in your life and come clean with this. Save HIM the anguish that you purposely put him through.

As for having babies - you aren't ready to have a baby until you think about the baby before anything else. Not what you want, or your boyfriend, husband, friends, family - when you can think of the baby as an individual that needs to be nourished, sheltered, and loved to the best of your ability - then you are ready for one. Loving a guy is NOT a reason to have a baby. That only pertains to your own desires and not the desires of your future child.

I'm confused about your question. But I know that I don't believe in hell, and even if I did, one thing like that would not be enough to send me to hell. But you should tell him you were lying. He's gonna think about that and feel guilty his whole life. That's pretty awful to do. It's your baby too, so you do what you want. It's not my decision. But also, I don't want to think about what I would do, what does it matter? I don't even have sex, and when I do, I'm going to be responsible about it. So if I did get pregnant, a lot would have to change between now and then. I would not have sex with a guy who wasn't up for the challenge and the risks that come with it. You would be surprised how many guys out there care a lot about whether or not a girl has an abortion, or if they have a child, what happens. Guys actually care, and they don't get a lot of say in what happens. They get basically no baby rights, and so you are doing something to a helpless guy who has no rights.

I'm not going to blast you for doing it because you've admitted it wasn't the best thing to do. Why did you take it to that level though? Was it to see if he would want to have the baby with you? Did you do it so he'd give you attention? I think if mind games have to be played then its not time for children. Having kids is serious and its a commitment either 1 or 2 of you will make with no trickery involved. Aside from being in love there a lot of other things to be considered when someone becomes pregnant. like your job, your education, your living arrangements, finances, etc etc.
