Am I being unrealistic?

Question

I want a girl who:

likes and watches football

plays or played a sport(anything but ping pong)

willing to workout with me

girly(not a total dude)

able to hold an intelligent convo

outgoing

likes my friends (vice versa)

challenges me

fun to hang out with

cute (doesn't have to be hella attractive)

likes me for who I am

as tall or shorter than me (5'6'' I'm short :/)

what do you guys think?

You just described me.  I'm taken though so don't get your hopes up :)  No but really there are girls like this out there.I absolutely love sports, I am dying for football season!  I am glad pre is here though!  And Nascar also kicks ass.  I have played soccer and softball all my life and I ride horses.  I work out at least 4 times a week.  I am girly, I can be one of the boys but I do get ready very girly and I am sensitive like a girl.  I had a 4.0 all through high school.  I am very outgoing.  I love my fiancee's friends (sometimes if your girl hates your friends it's jealousy issues because either you're giving them more time or because you care about them more, or if they are total ass holes you might wanna consider getting new friends...)  My man would rather be with me than his friends any day so I am guessing I am fun.  I am not ugyly.  I love my man for who he is and wouldn't change one thing about him.  It's ALL possible.  You just gotta find the right girl.  If you are going to be picky it might require some waiting, but when you find her it'll be worth it.

Obviously you want an athletic girl who can fit in with the guys but isn't one of them. The only thing I might make optional is the "likes and watches football" category. Granted, there are a lot of girls that like football (I'm one of them), but there are also a lot of great girls that are close to your description but don't like football.

I guess what I'm saying is that if you find a girl who fits most of your description, you can let the less important things go (likes/watches football, plays a sport).

Are you being unrealistic? yes. it'd be very difficult if not impossible to find a girl like that. plus, it's kinda insulting: you're not evaluating girls as individuals, but comparing them to a list.

Try reducing your list of must-haves to about 5 items.

there may be a FEW, but any man worth his salt will spot that rare girl and take her off the market. that's why they are impossible to find.

its easy to find a girl that is cute and likes sports. and if she likes you she will want to workout with you and she will also like your friends. you re not really being unrealistic you just have specific things you want in a girl. they re all easy to find in a way. a girl might not have all of those characteristics but I am sure you will find a girl with most of those...

I wouldn't say you are being totally unrealistic.. Like the others said you will probably have to do some waiting and dating before you find a girl that has everything you are looking for.  Definitely don't settle for much less than your standards but also don't completely rule out a girl say just because she doesn't play sports or work out with you or she might be a little taller.  The trick is to find that line between being too picky and lowering your standards.

No. It's good to be picky. If you aren't totally satisfied with who you're dating, things aren't going to work out in the long wrong. However, if you're expecting there to be a large amount of girls out there meeting your criteria, you can think again. It'll definitely be a struggle to find a girl that fits ALL of those standards.

No that is not too much to ask for at all. In fact you pretty much just described me other than the height...I'm 5'10" lol. There are tons of girls that fit that description. Next time you see a girl who catches your eye just walk up to her and say hi...you might be surprised to find she's just what you're looking for. Good luck!

Honestly, that's pretty realistic. The majority of women are under 5'7, so I think it would be fairly easy. I don't think finding a girl who watches football will be easy though. ;)

Not unrealistic at all -- but we can't have everything, and this goes for everyone. But there's oodles of girls who are exactly as you described... I know a handful, and I don't have a very big social network. X3

No but I would say don't like let go of a nice girl with some of the traits  because if ur too picky then you might never find the perfect girl. Remember no person is perfect.
