I went on a date with a guy and thought we hit it off pretty well. After I got home, I emailed him letting him know that I had a great time and I hope we can hang out soon. He replied by telling me he had a good time and he would call me next week. That was almost a week ago and I still have not heard from him. I realize that he works and everything, but I just wish he would call! If he sent me an email and said he would call me - he must have had a good time. Right? And he is going to call.? Any suggestions on this? What "rule" do guys normally follow when how long to wait until they call a girl
Oh and if he says he forgot, I would just tell him you are not interested. If he forgot that means he was lying that he had a good time. Maybe he did. But, maybe it wasn't good enough for him to remember.
I would just move on, and if he calls, he calls. Why would he wait till next week to call you anyway. Who cares if he works. If he was interested he wouldn't wait till "next week" Just start seeking other people, if he calls. Ask him what happened. Blah blah. But I don't think he sounds that trust worthy.
You just have to patience. if he honestly had a good time he'll call if not he isn't worth your time. he probably got caught up in things at home or work or something.
