I am a plus size girl and I am horribly shy when it comes to asking out guys because I have a fear or rejection because of my weight? Would you normally go out with a girl if she is overweight?
Curvy but healthy ladies do GREAT with the fellas. Better looking in person than rail thin supermodel types. They "feel" better too. And are more fun to have dinner with.
But if you're PLUS Plus sized, your options begin to narrow. Sorry, but true. But there's lots of hope:
1. There are a few guys with pure hearts that ignore looks. Very few. I can't even tell you where to start looking, but they do exist. If you find one, you're set with the cream of your crop so to speak.
2. There are a few guys with pure hearts that ignore looks. Very few. I can't even tell you where to start looking, but they do exist. If you find one, you're set with the cream of your crop so to speak. 1. There are a few guys that get off being with a big girl. Maybe find one of these. Though, he's superficial and maybe weird to choose people he cares about because of their body fat so I wouldn't recommend it.
3. There are quite a few unpopular, inexperienced, perhaps less-than-immediately impressive guys out there that would LOVE attention from you, because they are lonely. Frequently, they have similar body shape to you, fyi. So, filter on that and your response rate WILL go up. Of course, you would NEVER reject a guy because of how he looks, or because HE'S not confident, would you? Only guys do that to girls, right?
Finally, the biggest step you can take is to work on your horrible shyness and fear of rejection. That will never help you attract, only hinder. Just be proud of yourself, and let everyone you talk to see your positive nature shining through. You do have that to offer don't you?
And think of dating as a project, not a worth-defining endeavor. Meaning, you're no better and no worse now then you will be when you get a boyfriend. And when you have a boyfriend, you're no better and no worse than the single plus size women looking at you enviously.
Therefore, you can send emails on match. Com, strike up conversations in bars, and so on without getting paralyzed because it doesn't change how happy you are with yourself. Yes, you WILL get rejected. So what? Be proud of yourself for making an effort.
I mean if you sent your resume to 100 job offers, most would reject you. So what? That's how you get an interview. Doesn't mean you are a bad worker, it means that's how the game is played. So sign up for match. Com tonight and send 100 emails to your favorite 100 profiles. Many/most won't even respond. But some will. Follow up on the responses. A couple will be your favorites. And you'll totally forget about the 98 nonstarters because you've now got two hot guys wanting to phone you (or whatever. Its your love life). The point is you can't GET the attention of those two hot guys if you let your fear of rejection get to you.
Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As for me? I like my babes stacked and packed. I like a girl that has a nice sized backyard, if you know what I mean. I like a girl with a nice swing on her back porch.
I suppose what I am trying to say is, sure, some guys would reject you -- because you wouldn't be their type (so forget them) -- But then you meet your type and boom! You're in love.
Example: I have really dark eyes. I once had a girl criticize me, saying that I have "lifeless eyes" (I wasn't her type... didn't matter, she was this bony-ass, plastic, fake beotch anyway).
My wife? She LOVES my eyes. She claims that when I stare at her she feels a tingle. (And my wife is a nice, sexy, solid size 12, with a thick and juicy butt and healthy D's on top).... so it's all about what you both like.
It depends how *curvy* she is. a size 10-12 should have no problem, but if you're like size 24 and obese you can't be surprised if men aren't gravitating to you - 2 months ago
Some men accept it. Some don't. And once you found someone who can, You know what to do. You have to keep him close. It's ridiculous how judgmental men are these days. If they want a girl with a nice body, they want sex. If they don't care, than they want personality. I'm sure your a good person and won't have any troubles.
You have two answers one from a young man, one from a young woman. Men vary from region to region. Unfortunately many women have made it very easy for men. Women have lowered their standards and men have raised theirs. It does not matter what age a man is, how he looks, how much he makes, married or with kids. Women want to be loved so badly that they have no standard. To be honest, I have been every size of woman and I have learned that is based on my personal happiness at the time. When I am happy I am beautiful. On several occasions I have had women ask me how did I get so many admirers. In other words they wanted to know why the guys were attracted to me. Haha. My answer is this; it is the woman that is beautiful. Become your sexy and the admirers will follow. If you feel you need to lose a few pounds, do it when you are ready. Not to catch a guy. Guys know when you are faking it, as do your friends. Most guys don't want relationships nowadays and date as many women as they can. Raise your self esteem. Remember if you think it's broken, it probably is. If you think you are sexy you are probably right. Good luck!!!
It all depends on the guy some men like women to have a little bit of extra meat on their bones whereas some guys think that dating a woman who is thin as a toothpick is the only way to go. One thing to be careful of is the guys who hate you now for being plus size think of how much attention they are going to give you when you become thin are the ones to stay away from cause all they want is the skinny girl who they aren't afraid to show off to friends and family. Just be careful.
I'm a big, full-figured girl but i'm very confident and happy with myself. I have more confidence than most of my skinny friends and have no problem...
