Movie date question (When should I cuddle?..Should I kiss?)

Hey, I'm a 14 year old guy who's about to go on a date with his shy 14 year old girlfriend within a week and this is our first date in a while (we've been going out for about 10 months now and we haven't really had time to arrange a date since.so just a lot of talking and meeting up with each other at school).We've kissed about 4 times but we really haven't cuddled with each other and I think maybe the movies is a good place to start like I've heard of most couples doing so I don't know.Should I make the first move and when should I even start cuddling with her.middle of the movie.beginning?.Plus, do you think I should kiss her during the movie also?.I was also wondering how much girls liked to cuddle during a movie and how they would think of being kissed at the movie theater?

I have just split up with a wonderful guy whom I love, but because he feels that cuddling, kissing and laying my legs on him while we watch tv on the sofa (a rare occurance, cos we usually sit in separate chairs) I have left him because he feels that's all soppy nonsence. He's a believer in 'treat em mean, keep em keen. ' We have been together thru thick and thin for nearly 2 years and I can't do it anymore. I need affection, reassurance and demonstrations of love. Having 'sex' every 6 weeks doesn't work at all. Don't know why he feels we had any kind of relationship; we were just friends, and definately not lovers. I actually feel as tho I'm starving to death. When we talked about it he was fine for 24 hrs, but then I think he decided he'd given me enough of a top up to last me a while! I'm sorry but I need love and attention. I love him but he can't actually show me in the way that I need to be shown, that he loves me too.

All very sad at my time of life. I'm 52.

It sounds like she's just as inexperienced as you and for a shy girl, cuddling in a theater at 14 after 10 months of basically abstaining from everything is pretty abrupt. some girls HATE cuddling in public situations. when guys try and pull that shit on me early on in a relationship (or for the first time) I find it intrusive. I would settle for just holding hands and cuddling or kissing when you're in a more private situation and both of you are more comfortable.

About four times? LOL, I'm sorry, don't think I am laughing at you cause I havn't kissed my girlfriend except like on the hand but how do you 'about' kiss someone?

in answer to your question, most girls that I have talked to don't like the whole 'yawn move'. if you are gonna have ur arm around her, just put it around her. and you might want to pay attention to the type of chairs ur sitting in... my girlfriend and I went to a show once and I tried having my ar around her for the first time... and it was awful cause the theatre chairs really didn't accomodate for that type of thing. my arm was bent all funny and it was really uncomfortable for me and I don't know how it could have been comofrtable for her. If you have been dating for 10 months she would probably not mind cuddling.

and congrats, its not often a highschool/middleschool relationship lasts that long...

In my opinion bro, I wouldn't go to the movies to do that. Because there will be a lot of people around, and like you said she is shy. That probably wouldn't go so good on her. She might be thinking everyone is watching her. You should just take her to a park and hang out with her where it is so much people around. Make it as comfortable to her as possible.

save that for when she comes over and rents a movie. Holding her hand in the theater is sufficient for a shy girl usually.
