I know a guy that has liked me for a year and he is 2 years older than me. He asked me to homecoming and stuff but I couldn't go because I am 14 and in 8th grade. He is 16 and in 10th grade. He is really sweet; and now I like him. He has known that I like him for around 2 weeks and says he hopes we go out at some point. And my friend just told me 15 minutes ago that they were talking on myspace and she asked if he likes me and he said yeah and that he is thinking about asking me out.
Why hasn't he asked me out yet?
He has had 2 girls in the year that he liked me. But he has always liked me. He says he loves me.
What do I do!? I told him I really like him too but I don't know what to do; I'm confused on why he isn't asking me out.
HELP?
Also, it isn't that he doesn't like me because I'm 100 percent sure he likes me enough at this point to love me. Its just something kind of obvious if that's what you want to call it.
His friend died about 2-3 weeks ago over an air bubble in his heroine, and his parents are divorced. But now that he's starting to forget the whole ordeal of the death of his friend. He's being a lot nicer and talking a lot more.
If his friend did heroine, then you know he did too. I'm sorry, but you need to drop this zero and get a real hero.
Your talking about love and you've never even kissed the guy? No offense, but you sound like your little obsessed over a would-be junky - this doesn't sound like a path I can recommend anyone going down.
Oh well, I'm sure I'll get negative comments/ratings on this one - but this is the way I see it. I'm sure I'll hear, but he said he never did drugs, and I know he loves me because of the way he slurs his speech when I see him and how sweaty he is around me. >. <
I agree with Flower Beauty. Even if he likes you he still needs time to think. He might be thinking how he can accommodate a girlfriend and whats the best way to ask you out. The last thing you want to do is rush him or let him think that he's on a time limit. If you let him think that he only has X days to ask you out then after X days he will probably just give up.
The best thing you can do is be nice to him and be as open as possible. make him feel comfortable around you.
Oh wow, I'm really sorry his friend died, maybe that could be one of the reasons he's not asking you out. When a guy likes a girl he likes to develop some kind of bond between the two of you to see if you guys will last in your relationship. He's either shy or he's choosing the right moment to ask you out. Sometimes guys like to make it special for someone they like. Well in your case "love". Just wait a couple of days, give him some time, and I assure you he will ask you out the minute you least expect it. Trust me! Good Luck!
