I could usually go up to any girl and start a conversation without having any problems provided that I'm not attracted to her now with that being said when there's the slightest degree of attraction involved I loose that cool it's like I can't have both working for me at the same time.

If it does and it sounds good say it but then bite your lip before you can say something else that might sounds stupid. One of the best tricks is to look at her right between the eyes. To her it looks like you are making eye contact with her but you really aren't. It isn't as nerve wracking.
