When a guy hooks his thumbs in to his belt loops what do that mean?

I've herd that means they are interested in you to make them seem cooler or something. Is this true and why do they do it ! I really need to know.

i read sum where that it means they are displaying their masculinity. they are trying to come across as an alpha male and by doing this they are also drawing your attention to their crotch which shows he's got body confidence. (This is all subconscious btw well usually). if he is doing this in front of you it is likely that he is rlly interested in you. google male body language it will give you loads of other clues as to whether he likes you or not.

  Thanx ! He only does this when he is infront of mee though. And when he walking tords me or past me. WHen I see him and does not see me he does not do that. My friends that is friends with him says he never does that unless he's infront of me or knows I can see him. XP

its pretty common, I do it lol. it does a few things like it high lights the "special region", it can be also seen as staking territory and as a sign of impowerment and fearlessness, hope I helped ;)

I don't know. I hook my thumbs in my belt loops so my hands have some place to go without pulling down my pants. Girls pockets suck so putting my hands in my pockets pulls them down.
