3 sets (12/12/15 reps) of bicep curls, reverse curls, tricep extensions, military press, dumbbell flyes, bench press, squats, deadlifts, leg curls, leg extensions, calf raises.
For your core do 3 sets of 25 for situps, oblique crunches, vertical leg crunches, and bicycle crunches.
Eat healthy and spread your meals out. Have about 6 meals a day but have small portions.
Only drink milk during breakfest, the rest of the day is water. No Gatorade soft drinks or any other sugary drink like iced tea and lemonade.
Nothing will improve without dicipline. No saying ill just have one soda or a few chips. your in it 100% or your not.

my friend always told me one of the best ways to get in shape is to run and eat healthier foods (he's a boxer) sacrifices must be made so make sure to eat lean meats, fish, nuts, eggs yogurt and to gain muscle do 5-10 and 10 reps each sets of curls, barbell rows, and some overhead barbell tricep exercises and get some protein in your system if you run and do the weights it will lean out your muscles there are a lot of other exercises just make sure to do different parts of your body different days, I've made progress since I started and I'm happy where I am, doesn't mean I'm gonna stop haha hope this helps a little

If you aren't really pushing yourself at the end of a workout, it's not working out. You have to be struggling or straight unable to finish the last sets of some of your stuff. Keep trying heavier weights.

To drop weight you have eat less and stick to it. When I'm trying to drop weight I use a calendar and write down how many calories I've eaten (rounded up to the nearest 250). Anything above 2000 and you gained weight that day.

DO NOT be lenient or soft on yourself about this, especially the eating. It's like walter in the big lebowski when he's screaming MARK IT ZERO THERE ARE RULES. Don't not add certain calories or kid yourself about how much is in what, if you don't know how much calories is in something, find out or assume its 1000. You'd be surprised. A teaspoon of a lot of salad dressings is like 120 calories nowadays or something ridiculous. Just a bagel with nothing on it is like 400. You can see how that stuff adds up quick.

Note that a pound of fat is 3500 calories so you shouldn't just eat 1800 calories a day (losing 200 calories per day) and expect to drop weight. If you're looking for good progress you need to be dropping 500 calories a day to lose a pound every week, and 4 pounds a month isn't even that noticeable, so do what you have to.

Steven08 Yep that's exactly how to do it man when your tired and about to drop and you keep going at it and working out till you can't lift your arms that's when you start making progress not when you break a sweat and think that "well this is enough for today" attitude will get you nowhere you gotta just suck it up and keep at it - 5 months ago
Hollister78 I really don't agree with this. You NEED to eat. Its what makes your metabolism work.about a month ago I was close to 190 lbs or so and I just said ya know what I'm gonna get skinnier lol. I stopped eating junk food (not completely maybe once or twice a week) and I cut out soda. each day I lost about a pound or so. At the moment I'm about 165 or so.You need to run tho or do some sort of cardio and that is what burns fat. Then you need to weight lift also cause muscle burns fat. - 5 months ago
