How can I start getting fitter when I'm very unfit?

I've got to the point where it takes me like 2 minutes to sit up and get out of bed and I need a breather. I've let myself get to 350ibs. How can I start losing weight, I hate my belly, it sits on my lap when I sit and it's very heavy to try pickup.
