I'm newly single again after 8 years of marriage and wanted to know some unique questions to ask a girl when having the first initial conversation. I've asked the typical questions like, where are you from, what do you do for a living and what do you do for fun. It seems that girls get bored with these questions after a while and then the conversation turns into silence.
Yes I agree with tsquared. Make sure you act sincere about the questions and listen intently. You don't always have to open up a convo with a question, anything complementary is nice. "Oh you do smell lovely, what is that?" Personally I think funny guys are the best, come up with something random and nutz. Youll shock them and make them smile which is a good thing. WHATEVER you do, don't start off by talking about your divorce or your ex. Let that be the 2'd date conversation. If a woman asks about it, give her a simple answer and act like its unimportant. No woman likes to be approached by a man who seems like he's not over his ex yet. Makes her feel like a rebound. Hope this helps and goodluck. -Megan
Not sure if the quetions are as important as how you receive the answers. If you do not listen to her answers then she quickly realizes that you questions are not sincere.
It has always been difficult to begin a conversation. The trick is to expand a conversation once you find some common ground. If you ask a girl what she does for fun and she tells you something, do not move the conversation to something you do for fun. Example...you ask a girl what she does for fun...she tells you I like to ride my bike...well then you have to expand on that and ask her additional questions on that...like where have you ridden, how far do you typically ride...ask her about her bike...but do not...I repeat do not ignore her answer by immediately telling her what you like to do for fun. It just shows her that you are not really particuarly interested in what she does for fun you just want her to listen to you. I hope this makes sense.
I'm kind of an old fashion guy so I'm not looking for sex right off the bat. I just want to get to know the person first. I'm a very shy person so...
