When making out, how carried away do you get?

Guys just go forward when making out. They may blunder forward in great haste as their hormones heat up, or they may advance more gradually, but they will just keep going in that Energizer Bunny way until the girl indicates that a limit has been reached for now. For guys there is no inherent internal feeling of "too far" for him to fall back on (it's more like, "Are we there yet?!" lol), so it's really up to the girl to gently rein him in from time to time. It's absolutely your prerogative to establish those limits in any way/time you choose, so don't hesitate to do so when you feel it's time. Just be kind to the poor guy when you do so -- slamming on the brakes in that situation can be tough on a guy.

As they gain experience guys (usually) gain the ability to throttle themselves back as it gradually dawns on them that girls don't actually like it so much when they charge full ahead. Maybe that's one reason why some girls like older men, because they can let themselves get carried away while the guy still clearly has himself under control? Anyway being new at it, your boyfriend will probably continue to get carried away for the foreseeable future.
