I am just wondering will a guy like "shape up" his appearance to impress a girl? Like the guy I like all of a sudden started wearing cologne and making a point to walk past me. he used to have pimples but I noticed this year they have been clearing up. I know that that is a stretch and he probably didn't do those things for me (because I think he likes me). But would a guy do that?
yep! for example I'm in a LDR and while I'm really healthy pretty much year round, the week before I fly down to LA to see her I hit the gym 2-3 hrs a day every day, sleep at least ten hours a night, eat really really healthy (no candy no junk food and drinking only milk and water). I wash and iron all my clothes, whiten my teeth and go shopping for something nice for her (necklace, earrings, bracelet, flowers etc)
however I doubt he's getting rid of acne for you. that tends to just happen naturally as hormones balance out. walking past you with cologne could very well be signs tho.
Yeah a guy would make sure he could look his best to impress a girl! the first appearance is the most important and that's when people judge people is first appearance! so yeah guys do make sure they look good enough so to make sure you look at him and that he notices that you noticed him too! so just make sure he knows you saw him and he is making a effort for you to look good! Be sure to keep in touch with him and tell him he looks good and handsome sometimes so he knows what he did was a good thing and he will impress you some more! hope I helped you!
Guys totally go that. I remember in 9th grade one of my teachers went off on a whole thing about how funny 9th grade boys are. He would say how he would see the same boys day in and day out and how they often wouldn't seem to care much about how they dressed or smelled or anything. And he could always tell when they had it bad for some girl because suddenly he'd come to school dressed nicer, cleaner, wearing cologne, combing his hair nicer, etc. And then a little time would pass and he would see the guy walking the halls holding hands with some little cutie for a couple weeks. Then one day he'd come to school and he'd be back to the messy guy who didn't seem to care and you could tell they broke up, lol.
Yep. I think its normal for anyone to want to look good and impress the opposite sex. I know that, when I really like a guy and want to impress him - I'd make sure I look good. So, to answer your question - yes guys will do it. And plus, looking good physically and health wise boosts your confidence up! Its a plus in both cases. But then again, maybe he's "shaping up" for his own well being or maybe for somebody else, who knows? if you are not sure then don't count on it.
I'm interested in knowing what you girls like the most. There's a lot of different clothing according to different music style. Wich do you think...

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
My ideal date would be something romantic and fun at the same time. Maybe dinner and then bowling. I would probably wear a cute pair of jeans and a nice top (turtleneck in the winter, sleeveless in the summer) with a pair of heels. The date ends with us both smiling like big dorks so much because we had a great time (LOL)and him making a second date right there.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
My date will know that I am a funny girl who loves to crack jokes and make people laugh. He will know that I'm very independent but I still love him to hold my door open for me and pull my chair out. He will also find out that I have a competitive streak but most of all he'll know that he can't live without me! LOL.
It's the beginning of summer, but it's never too early to be thinking about the start of school. For the next couple of months you're probably going to be in the sun a lot. This can cause some...
