If you took the idea of "Opposites Attracting to one another" then, what is it about the level of magnetism between two people that is considered to be attraction? For two magnets to be at their highest level of attraction, there must be a give and take of polar forces and gravity to bring them together. Or putting yourself in a position to let things flow naturally between two people who are attracted to each other. Positive to negative; Work to play; Woman to man.

Now, how can we start to decode some of these levels of attraction? Well, with magnets and gravity, some friction is created, creating heat, or a spark, but overall something is felt between the two forces. This could lead to emotions of liking another person and leading to expectations of spending time with them (the opposite polar force) to see how strong the attraction is. Because if there was no time for two magnets to pull together, then how can you test to see how strong the attraction is? Well it's hard to tell, but also, can we label the kinds of attraction?

Now, I've read in other magazines and articles that some causes for humans to bond happens on a few types of level

  • The Physical Bond
  • Neurological/Mental Bond and
  • Neuro-physical Bond (a more all encompassing bond), which usually comes when one person is superior in one area of interest and lack in another, that the partner is usually the compliment to (as the cultured, opposite personality); or what may seem like picking up where your partner left off, finishing another person's sentence, thing like that.

Now with other articles I've read that there are among 5 types of chemistry/types of attraction: so let's take a look at them:

  • Sincere friends
  • "Joke around"/hang out/laugh all the time friends
  • "Team concept"/ complimentary/work friends
  • "Just like twins"/so much in common friends
  • "Burning Passion"/lust/longing - friends

  • Now in a really remarkable relationship, strong types of attraction are created with a mix and influx of all of these types of connections. And given time and sacrifice, the magnets give up being solo to create a force between them.

And when do magnets fall apart? Well, when outside side influences pull them apart, or something comes between them that has the desire to distance the two magnets, then it's up to the two magnets to make the best of their bond ... Or break apart, that's the make it or break it part of attraction, or a relationship between two forces.

lovebird01 Very good article. You make some intresting points about attraction and bonding I've always thought that one of the reasons opposites attract , is because they offer a visible contrast that piques the other person's curiousity. So they stay in position. - 6 months ago
A-R-Norman I'd say my hubby and I were opposites--he was the left brain analytical computer dude--I was the flighty artsy gal...lol...we make a wonderful whole! - 4 months ago

Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
    random-ren asked 11 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

    Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?
