Will he ever contact me again?

There is this guy who I was really into a couple years ago and we broke up. Right now he is dating someone else and so am I and we aren't even talking but I think about him a lot still. I just don't contact him because he is with someone else (and so am I). Also, I don't think our relationship will really work out in the long run. I just want some closure though that he really loved me and actually cared. How can I get that? Do you think he will ever contact me again? Because I will never contact him again ever.

well if he's happy with someone else then it's unlikely that he will take the initiative to contact you again, especially after all this time. So it's highly unlikely that you'll ever get a straight answer to your question from him. If he really cared/loved you, it would have shown in his actions in the past, and I guess only you know the answer to that question.

well if you still love this guy then what are you doing dating someone else? More importantly, if you still love this guy, perhaps it should be you who takes the initiative to contact him first. That way you'll finally know the truth about everything once and for all and you'll be able to have some closure.

I already contacted him and he is always purposefully vague with his intentions with me. If he wanted to be with me more seriously, he would have made the effort, no? I am dating someone else because I am trying to move on because I don't think he and I can ever have a real relationship , at least not right now while I'm young
