Is it a bad thing when someone says you haven't changed?

If someone saw a picture of you when you were younger, and said you haven't changed, it that bad? When everyone else looks completely different, you're told you look the same? Should I care about that this much?

I don't know what their reasoning is for saying it - like the other guy said, they're probably just pointing out the obvious - but it always feels rude to me. So I know how you feel :/ haha

But I've never heard anyone purposely say it in a rude way, so don't give it much thought. They probably didn't mean anything by it :]

Yeah I hope they didn't mean anything though, because I looked like total crap in the pictures so its like their saying I look like total crap now which isn't a good thing

I know it can be really annoying when someone says that but I think they say it without realising-i'm sure people don't say it as an insult.

You'll be thankful for it as the years go by. At your age you want to look older, and that's perfectly normal, of course. My ex wife looked very young when I married her, but within several years time, she looked still youthful, while her friends were beginning to show their age. It may not be what you want now, but you'll come to appreciate it.

It could be bad, good, or mean nothing. Maybe the person was just pointing out the obvious, or maybe they thought you still looked really cute.
