Why does my ex invite me to hang out with him and his friends?

One of my ex's who HAS A GIRLFRIEND, still asks me to hang out with him and his friends. He def still has feelings for me too, so what's the point in this? Shouldn't he be with his GIRLFRIEND and his friends, they all know very well who I am too!

This is odd behavior but the only one who knows what it all means is him. If you are sure he still has feelings for you, well then he is still trying to keep you in the picture. I doubt he has a clear vision of what he is doing in that case, but maybe he is on the fence about wanting to have you back or something along those lines.

He said that his current girlfriend isn't serious and because he still isn't ready to be in something serious he just stays in the relationship(he is 24, she is 19). He told me he wished things had worked out better between and says that they still can. I don't know if that means anything, or if he is being truthful. What do you think?

I am not a big fan of wishy washy people. I wonder what his definition of serious is and why he would call her his girlfriend if he wasn't serious. I wonder if she realizes all of this. It sounds shady to me. So, I don't know why the 2 of you are not together, if you are the one who broke up and if you think the reasons you broke up are no longer a problem. If you think things are different now and you want to get back with him, tell him. If not, I would avoid him.

He should, but if he's like me then I would still want to remain friends. Because there really isn't a reason to end a relationship entirely
