Well, me and my friend have been texting each other since Nov, and we’re both in high school. In the beginning, he’d usually text me frequently, and ask me for advice about girls. Then on my birthday back in Dec, he asked me to hang out with him. Then in Jan, I started talking to him more frequently because it seemed like he liked me. He called me cute, invited me to his wrestling matches (which I went to, but I didn’t get to talk to him at either, and he was disappointed), said he never let me down, told me that guys were stupid for not dating me, tried making me jealous, talked about hanging out multiple times, etc. I don’t think he’s a player either. One night, we kinda had some heavy flirting, and he pulled away, and started acting a bit distant. He’d talk to me, but wasn’t acting like his normal self. This happened before too, but I called him out on it, and said that he has trouble opening up because of his past, and that he’s been hurt before. Well, I decided to ask him if he liked me, but he said that he likes me, but just as a friend rn. And that he had to sort some stuff out. I’m just confused because he seemed really into me, until we got sexual. I told him that we should hang out soon last Friday, and he said “Definitely will, but I may have one more individual match for wrestling, but I’ll keep you posted.” I’m just really confused, like does he have trust issues possibly? Like he seemed kinda into me, until we got intimate. He did tell me that he still talks to his ex, and ever since he’s pulled away, I have a feeling he’s been talking to another girl. But I doubt he’d just drop me that quick because he seemed really into me. One time he told me, “I’m fine, trust me.” Then he said, “You trust me, right?”
