What if your best friend is trying to steal your boyfriend and he does nothing about it?!

Okay she is technically my ex best friend but anyway she is always all over my boyfriend. She acts like I don't even exist. But he doesn't even say anything to her. He just tells me everytime its not my fault----well do something about it___ but yeah HELP!? What do I say to him so that he knows I want him to change.!?

You just have to deal with it, sadly. I had a similar problem at work because my boyfriend and I work together. We aren't supposed to date co-workers, so no one knew about us for the longest time. The girls we work with knew I liked him (not that I was dating him) and they were all over him. They would grab his butt, kiss him and everything.

Eventually I staked out my territory. The managers know we are dating now and are fine with it. As for the girls.I got both of them fired :)

Although, in most cases it doesn't work out this perfectly.

My dear, you are very young but let me just tell you. There are ALWAYS going to be other girls flirting with your boyfriend. It sucks and is annoying but that is life. What you can do though is try your best to limit the time you two have to be around her, ditch this girl because she doesn't sound like that great of a friend, and if your boyfriend flirts back tell him that if he keeps doing that you are going to dump him and move on. I know he may seem like the love of your life right now, but I GUARANTEE you will meet other guys in your future.

The fact that he is not responding or doing anything means he is not interested in her. However, since the other girl is your best friend he might be confused about how to act and might think that she has your permission to flirt with him. The best thing would be to tell your best friend that he finds her behaviour very odd and repulsive but being a nice guy unable to express it. This way you will give two messages:

1. He is your guy and confides in you

2. He does not find her attractive
