My boyfriend always cancels on me to go with friends?

every time me and my boyfriend have some plans even after school he goes off with friends, it bothers me a lot I tell him and everything but he seems to not care about that it always seems to be "i can't" when I ask, but if his friends ask its I can I hate it it makes me so mad and when we do hang out (once a week) he always is texting and his friends call 24/7 so I basically never get to be with him just him alone

Very disrespectful. My mom always told me "You teach people how to treat you". He would have but 1 time to cancel on me like that. If it's not an actual emergency or a family member he should respect your plans. He's indirectly letting you know that his time with his friends take precendence over you and your plans. This should have only happened 1 time, the fact that he keeps doing it says that he doesn't really care. Next time you have a plan with him break it and hang with your girls instead. better yet ask one of them to set you up with a guy who keeps his plans lol

Well if you're being clingy and desperate and want to hang out with him 24 hours a day, then that's one thing. But if you aren't, and you make plans and he just goes with his friends, then he's being a dick and you need to dump him. You need to figure out whether you're being too clingy or needy. If not, then dump the guy. Obviously he doesn't care for you enough to make you a priority and you're wasting your time.

i mean I'm not to clingy or anything because if I was being like that I would blow off everyone because he says he might be able to like next week ill be leaving and he says lets try and get as much time before you leave (he always says this) and when ever he asks to hang out he always says okay we will then like 20 minute before were supposed to he's like "oh I'm with so and so sorry" this happens all the time

Your brain will give you common sense (I hope) while your heart just leads you to trouble. Look at the hurt you're being caused. If you weren't hurt, you wouldn't be on here asking this question. Take a step back, and use common sense.

Yes you do, just tell him it's not working out. If your friend was in your situation, and her boyfriend kept blowing her off, would you want her to stay with a guy that obviously doesn't care for her that much? No, you'd tell her to dump him. Like I said, use your brain, stop following your heart, and just pull the trigger. It will suck, but you won't keep getting hurt over and over again. Time will heal your pain, and you will move on and find a better guy.
