Why does he look away when I catch him looking at me?

He's not an awkward person so that is why I don't get it. I went out with him all day today with him and my other friend, and he would just stare at me and then when I looked at him he looked away really quickly and then I noticed he would look at me and look at my body and then look away when I saw him doing that. I don't get it too, cause he was more talking to my other friend and kinda was ignoring me. I can understand this if this were a shy guy, but he's not so that is why I am so confused. Any thoughts? lol. Thank you!

Hahaha! Right? I mean everyone looks at everyone, I guess it just confused me cause he is not an awkward person. If he were a shy guy then I would be like "Ok he's looking away cause he's shy" But he isn't, and he is very outgoing and goofy, so you would think it wouldn't bother him, and he would just keep on staring regardless if I saw or not, lol. No, I am just curious as to why a outgoing guy would act like that. I am not really worried about it, I more post questions on here out of boredom anyways, and just to see opinions and different outlooks. I just never been in a situation where the guy looks away when you catch him looking at you, considering he is really outgoing and goofy and usually the outgoing guys I hang around they will keep on staring and basically don't give a fuck if the girl is seeing how they are staring and such, and usually it's the shy guys that look away, but he's not shy so it just kinda confused me a bit, lol. But no it's not that important. Thanks!
