If a guy has been chasing (the hunt lol)a girl for a long time and doesn't give up just backs off for a bit then comes back to try and make you feel more comfortable around you, would he be offended or a little upset if she approached him before he approached her. Also he doesn't look at any other girl and its been like this for a year would he lose interest once he got me or does that amount of effort mean he wants more that just physical side.

Thanks in advance for any answers older guy's answers please as he is a older guy but any one welcome to answer if they have had some experience.

I just got done chasing the girl of my dreams, and I must say that I almost gave up about 10 times. I've known her my entire life and she's 6 years older than me. We went to the same church for 20 years, and a lot of other stuff happened. Recently we were really close and we started to develope feelings for eachother, and it eventually grew into something that never thought would have been possible. She was playing games with me for a good month because she didn't know what she wanted. She would come up with excuses for everything and It was killing me inside because each time we were around eachother, I would fall more for her without knowing what was going to happen. And as time went by, I think she is crazy about me and we are going to be in a relationship very soon. She told me it was time to stop playing games before each of us went on vacation, and since then we've been starting to act more like a couple. If that guy has been chasing you for that long, may god have mercy on him...

I wanted to give up so many times because I wasn't confident about how things were going to workout because we've known each other for so long and we have a history. I never imagined us being at this level that we are at now, and I am happy. If he keeps chasing you, he OBVIOUSLY likes you. Why not give him a chance? if you like him, ask him how he feels. Ask him if he truly likes you or if he is just messing with your head.

Oh ok well he's away on vacation at the moment so I shall try to talk to him if I don't freeze up ha ha but I have in the last few weeks gave of signals that I'm interested and I feel a weird chemistry between us that I like tho but we haven't passed the touch barrier yet which was going to try to be my next move is this a bad one, we can stand in each others space facing one another and still feel comfortable with that.

You gotta see if he has other opportunities in getting other girls (i.e.: other women showed interest/flirt with him) but he pass on them. If that's the case, then he wants you for more than just sex or ego stroke.

If he persist for a year, then I think he has his heart set already and there are not much that you can do wrong except the obviously mean, rude or evil things. So, my recommendation is give it a go, approach him. If he get upset, then you have just uncovered some twisted issue this dude has. If he is a relatively normal person, he will be ecstatic to have you approach him.

Have you start liking him because you appreciate being liked by this guy or you truly see something extraordinarily good about him (except the fact that he has been pursuing you for a year)? You know what I am getting at here, I don't think it is good if you misjudge attraction and flattery. Just be sure that you act on your true feeling.

I felt something from the first time are eye's met, we kind of just glared at each other it was strange I wasn't sure at first because I don't do relationships and would take something different to make me come out of single-hood because I do enjoy being single but if he would give me a shot I think I would certainly take a chance on him.

This guy chased me for 6 years I had never given him a kiss or anything. We kissed a week ago he talked to me the next day and i asked him what he was doing the next day he asked me if i wanted to grab dinner or a drink i said okay the next day he cancels to hangout with his friends doesn't talk to me again. I talked to him after 3 days of him avoiding me he asked me what i was doing i said i was going to a certain club he said he was going to a different club then he asked me to come i said why not what time he did not answer until the next day and said he did not end up going and fell asleep. The texts were around 4pm so that's BULLSHIT.

Anyway, to sum up, i feel that after a guy chases you for so long it's all about the ego (or at least part of it) once i showed interest he blew me off and i still don't understand what I did wrong

I had a guy after me for two year, he was older than me he actually waited till my parents gave him permission to date me. And he never lost interest actually I ended up being the one to lose the interest. The point is that if a guy goes through the trouble of chasing after you for that long, he doesn't want you for the physical or he would of given up a while ago.

If he is still single the girl could still renew his interest. The guy would not be offended if the girl approached him (I wouldn't). Think why would he be upset about that. You have to consider that he is older and he is not getting any younger, and hopefully he knows that too. If a pretty lady walks up to him he probably would not mind.

If he is still single, he wants to have a lady by his side, because he is lonely. Guys get lonely too. And guys want a lady next to them just to talk to and be close to. Now if you notice many different ladies in his vicinity then forget about him being lonely. And I would not care about him.

I don't know if he is single but he doesn't seem to care if people see him looking at me, I will ask him but first I would like to break that touch barrier to see what his reaction is. Because I reacted badly to him in the beginning he pulled my hair so moved a little away witch then he gave me a little push push and replied that's charming I do regret but it was at the beginning and I was like what is he doing lol

Yes I agree with you totally but I'm no drama queen I was in a 3yr long relationship with a guy some years ago and he was lets just say not a very nice guy, witch I'm sure he knows about this so I guess maybe I just wanna be sure of his intentions or something if I'm going to go into a comitment again.

He wouldn't lose interest if he's been pursuing for a long time. And, if he's pursuing for a long time, he's interested in more than just the physical side. He really likes you as a person if he's been pursuing for a year. If you finally approached him, he would love it. It's like all his hard work paid off. He invested so much time and effort, so he probably wouldn't lose interest in you.
