When I think about the phrase "making a move", I think about making the first move. When it comes to making the first move, it could either be physical or verbal. It could vary from telling someone your feelings for them (for verbal). For physical, it could be something as simple as linking arms with the other girl, or holding hands... or it can be at bit more risky as kissing her or whatnot.
A. Asking out on a date isn't really a move IMHO, it can be "just friends"
B: Playful touching can be one. (in my case it would be: I'd never get to touching a friend if I hadn't any ideas, the teasing could be "just friends".
C: Sexual innuendo can be "just friends".
D: Kissing (French) definitely IS a move.
