I have a friend that came up to me and told she wants to try this restaurant and she asked me if I could join her (in a indirect way). She does have a boyfriend but it seems like I'm the only guy friend she asks to have lunch with. She said she was excited. What does this mean?

it means she is your friend and wants to have lunch with you, i doubt there is anything but friendship. go out to lunch and have fun. the reason you are thinking about it a lot and asking what it meant here on GAG, might mean you like her, and want more then friendship.
